Thanks Sly. You wouldn't lose it. Just duct tape it to your forehead while filling. Problem solved. Unless you forget it there, but I'm sure Drew would say something... again... problem solved.
Hearing the repetitive "Bud" several time made me want a beer.

Phil wanted to say thanks for your videos. I am just getting started and have watched all your videos. Just placed my first order for a PV and also pack of Boge cartos to try out along with it. Your reviews saved me money starting out. Thanks again and look forward to more in the future.
as always I enjoy your reviews. I look for hardware reviews. juice reviews to me are kind of useless really, unless I get to watch someone vape crab juice, then it's worth a look. who doesn't like seeing someone gag or puke on video? at least hardware a person is comparing the same juice between different hardware and can reflect...

@Mufftrix - Thanks. I've been contacted by a vendor who said I got a bum pack. They're supposed to send me another so we shall see. This carto falls under the category of people loving it vs. people who don't. I just describe how I feel about it. You're results may vary, of course.

Phil let me step in here and say that Gotvapes has a Bud ( Sapphire ) that has been revised over the ones you are using and have corrected the burning flavor thing you are getting. take yours and pull off the bottom connector, wiggle it till it comes off by leaving it on your Batt, pour your juices into something, replace your wick and take a piece of wick from something else for now if you have a piece and replace it with this for now. The wicks in the ones you have Burn ! I've used the newer XC-116 wick in these that I use in just about everything now and they work super. Gotvapes is supposed to have there new revised Bud ( Sapphire ) as they call them soon and it is not going to have that burnt taste your getting from the ones supplied to you from X supplier, these work very good with the proper wicking material in them and flavor is super if you get them right.

Ok, a couple things here.
First, it is not necessarily a "burning" flavor I'm getting. It is dry hits. The flavor isn't horrible, but it's dry. Perhaps, in effect, this is a burning flavor. Proper wicking, as you suggest, would most likely solve the issue.
The folks from GotVapes got a hold of me and are supposed to be sending me some "fixed" ones. We shall see.
As far as the fiddling you describe. I'm done with fiddling with a sold product to get it to work. It either works or it doesn't out of the box. But you know I do appreciate the suggestion and hope this helps others who are having similar issues.
I thought my fiddling days were over when I gave up the PTB mod for cartos. Then I did some fiddling with CEs and then some fiddling with the Giantomizer.
No more fiddling!

I'll be interested to see if the pack they send you is any better. I'm always weary of venders and their product claims.
I'm with Phil, tired of all the fiddling. I ordered these as soon as they were available. One was pretty good, the other never worked right. So I fiddled. And fiddled. No go. But, the one that did work was not too bad, and the wife liked it so I waited for the 'new' batch to come out and ordered several more.
So far, of the 3 I've taken out only one works right. The batting average is getting worse... One somehow leaked liquid in to the air chamber as soon as I filled it. I blew it out a few times and let it sit overnight and amazingly enough the leaking stopped. Thought I had a winner, but then about 2 minutes in started getting the dry/burnt hits. It went from wicking too fast (leaking) to not wicking fast enough. Makes no sense to me. The other one loaded fine but has had the dry/burnt taste from the beginning.
The sad thing is I think a design like this (or perhaps the Vortex if they could ever make it reliable) would really be ideal for a lot of people. Easy to fill up, no filler material to worry about, easy to see when you need more juice (eliminate the nasty hits), and would be great for someone new to vaping.
We've got to get to the point where vaping is as reliable and easy as smoking was. Smoking was straightforward - light and puff. Sure you'd get the occasional cigarette that wasn't packed well and burned weird, or an ash falls and burns something, etc. Not saying going back to smoking is the thing to do, just saying that for the most part smoking was 99.9% reliable and easy. When we can get rid of all the fiddling, we'll be able to convert a lot more people to vaping.

I might be a little late to the party, but the GotVapes Buds are a thumbs down. Everything you said in your review applies here, plus you get a little melting silicone flavor. I was told they'd send me new ones as well, but they never did and I didn't peruse it because I don't want them anyway.
Vapor is cold, throat hit is non existent (though it does leave a scratchy feeling), and taste is nasty. If I let it sit for an hour or so I can pick up a tiny amount of taste for one draw, but the taste still seems contaminated and then it needs to sit again.
These are my thoughts on the good one. The bad one tasted like burning silicone. Both leave me with a headache after a few drags.
Hey guys I just got a Bud Sapphire in the mail tonight and I have to say they must have improved them or changed something because I think it is fantastic. I got it , put the little tip on my bottle , filled it up , started vaping after about 5 minutes and wow...great taste, no leaking , easy to fill. Gonna try a different flavor on the second one I got but personally I was very impressed. It just worked out of the box and the flavor was way better than the fluxomiser I got. I thought it would be the other way around. I will definitely order some more of these. If there was one thing I would like to change , it is the vapor could be a little warmer, but the taste did not seem impacted.
(Not slamming anyone's review here , who knows maybe my taste is screwed up but thought I would let you know it is working great for me)

Everyone's tastes are different so there's never anything wrong with posting your experience.
GotVapes must be reading this thread because they sent a package to me at 3:50 AM so I do hope you're right -- I am sick of dealing with filler in cartos.
PBusardo and review on the new version? Sorry billtaichi I don't mean to offend but I just don't trust someone who has so little post yet. I also bought in to the original version and agreed with you. I just don't want to spend any more money on a product that burned me once. Ive gone down that road too many times.
I got the new ones from GotVapes. I'll be trying them out shortly.
