I feel like I drove to LI and went fishing....only thing missing is the smell of fish :D

Fantastic work...love the music...J tank looks like a win.

It's a COMPLETE win! Thanks for the kind words! Fresh fish doesn't smell like fish, but bad fish does. If you'd like to recreate that... buy some crab juice, open the bottle, and watch the review again :)

That was absolutely marvelous! The review, which helps me a lot, and answered most of the questions I was pondering about these. Then the lovely trip out and back in the boat. :)

I come from a place where the sea is ever present, and I live now in a place were it isn't present at all. You have made my day, and a hundred thousand thanks yous :)

And a million thank yous! Luckily I've always been around a body of water somewhere in my life. I wouldn't be able to live without! Glad you liked it!

Gosh! I learned about vaping and about fishing, all in one (very long) video!;-)

Seriously, Phil: Another outstanding job, this time in a wonderful change of place setting! [Equally seriously: I did not watch all of the last 10 minutes. Hope you're not offended. Seen one Montauk sunset, seen em all.:D]

As for the subject of your review: I had not given these things much serious consideration. Don't even own a dremel and wouldn't know how to use it if I did. However, I see that Jason now carries pre-slotted dual coil cartomizers!

So let's see how this tallies up:
  • Uses my favorite cartomizers – Check!
  • Would look kinda neat on my 18650 NoEgo – Check!
    5mlJ-Tankand18650NoEgo.jpg
  • 5ml capacity well matched with 18650 battery's mAh – Check!
  • pbusardo gives it a shout out – Check! Check!
I'm in! ... as soon as Jason gets the 5ml ones in stock. [If you're going high-profile, might as well go whole hog.:)]

A couple of questions: No leaking laid down flat or even tipped upside down? The way you are shaking that tank around, I'm assuming no...

Will it accept longer cartos than the standard length like the boge? As DonDaBoomVape mentioned, I see pre-slotted dual coils, but there is no mention of what size dual coil it is. I've seen some short (standard length) dual coils on at least one vendors website in recent weeks, so I'm wondering if the tank will accept XL length cartos. - The refill portion of your video makes me think a longer carto will just stick further out the top, but I'd hate to buy one for my current stock of DCs just to find out I was wrong.

Check Check and Check again!

THANKS Don!

I didn't expect most to watch the sunset, but it's there for anyone's enjoyment. At least I didn't put it in the beginning of the review :)

You can bet your .... I'm going to get some more of these and some 5mls as well.

NOW that I'm into these... should I put them up against a map tank... hmmm....

Ok so I've got a few comments here:

1) Nope no leaking at any time. The only thing I didn't see was to hang it upside down for a night.
2) It's made for a standard Boge, but you can bet I'm going to try a Smoktech in it. I would agree that it would just stick out further. I believe the 5ml will be made to fit the XLs perfectly. HOWEVER...

I've noticed something about the Smoktech cartos. With the Boges, you can top off until they are completely soaked and accept no more juice and nothing comes out the battery end. If you do that with the Smoktech XLs, you get some leaking through the battery hole. NOW, I'm not sure if that's a function of design, or the added juice capacity creating weight that pushes down on the juice below from the juice above forcing it out, or the wrapping around the inner coils not holding the juice out. SO, You may need to be careful when slotting the Smoktechs. As a matter of fact, I talked to Jason over at ElectronicStix.com and even he said that the slots need to be smaller for them. In his own words, "its smaller because the material inside is less dense", so there you go.

Hope that helped.

Do you work in radio/tv? You're videos are very well done!

I've been using the Liquinator with great success. Liquinator, J Tank, I think any carto tank is going to work well, and as you point out, the convenience and consistency of performance make these a great innovation for people that are willing to have a science experiment on their PV. I know that I, for one, really value not having to add juice more than once a day or every other day.

Thanks again for your great video!
