I joined CASAA pretty soon after I became a vaper.
If you've been a member a while or just signed up one of the BEST things I ever did was pay attention to their "Calls Of Action", and when it was my state's turn I was at my legislative house. When your call comes, if you possibly can, be there in person to protest*! No matter how long it takes! I was there for about 13 hours(not typical, GMO bill that day too) it was rough... But the bill died in the house, I even got quoted in a major newspaper!(albeit they misquoted me) but its up there in one of the things I'm proud of.
*-Tip- All state's legislative procedures may differ. CASAA often lets you know when and where the bill will be considered, but its up to you to understand your state's rules for the process and inclusion of your testimony for or against a bill. It's genuinely priceless information to get an understanding of this part should you attend a legislature hearing.
