I see a lot of negative flap regarding B&Ms on the forum and I thought I would pass on this experience to our members. Sorry if the post gets a little long, but I thought it was worth passing on.

Yesterday I went to my local B&M to resupply my stock of juice. While I was waiting for my order to be prepared, I started perusing the counter showcases. I need to add a little background here. I have been vaping for over two years now and the ONLY batteries that I have ever used have been eGo style batteries. I have one original eGo 600mah single voltage - one eGo upgrade variable voltage (the type that you press the button 5 times to change between two voltages) and one 1100mah eGo-v V2 mega. I know, I'm a bit of a non-techie here but these eGo batteries have been working for me and I've had great success with them.

Well anyway, while perusing the goodies in the showcases, I spotted a 1300mah eGo-v V3 on the shelf and thought to myself "why not add another battery to my collection". When the clerk came back with my juice, I questioned him about the battery and he said it was $29.95. I told him I would take it and we proceeded to the register.

Here's when the pleasant (and surprising) experience kicked in. As the clerk was tallying up the sale at the register, another clerk behind the counter stepped over and said "I wouldn't sell that to him", meaning the battery. I immediately questioned her why not and she said that she has had a lot of complaints about that particular battery and she thought that they might have gotten a bad batch.

Of course, I took her advice and declined the battery. Before leaving the store I thanked her several times for her honesty and told her that I would be checking in to see when they got a new batch of the batteries in.

I found this to be a totally refreshing experience compared to the "fill the till and the hell with the customer" attitude that we normally see in retail stores. I don't know if putting plugs in for B&Ms are allowed on the forum, but if they are, I will edit this post with the name of the store.

Sorry for the long-winded post - keep on vaping!!!

That is always a nice thing when people are honest. I have been going to this one place that i liked until now when they sold me a battery for my mod that will not work. Kinda made me mad and probably wont be back for some time. Glad to know there are still honest people out there not try to make a buck.

It seems St. louis has a couple of really good B&M stores. They have always been real easy to deal with. Never the lowest price option, but sometimes it is better to pay and extra buck or two to make sure that you have someone to yell at if things dont work out. If you yell and a guy in China i don't think it has the same effect...

Tyancey00.....I would like to know where these stores are located. I have 2 near me... 1 is a small one and only carry beginner items and the second well.... the second carries some of everything, has some nice juices but troubles me. While visiting the second store the other day to buy some kanthal I asked to see one of the Kayfuns, the guy didn't even know what that was and how to use it. Hummmmmm, so being the nice kind person I am I proceeded to teach this employee what and how to use it (I'm in no way an expert, I do not even own a Kayfun. I have never even built a coil.) To say I now second guess my choice in continuing to buy their juices.

Unfortunately, the B&M near me is a disappointment. They come across as "vape snobs" looking down their noses at you if you don't or won't blow huge clouds with your device. In a way it is sort of comical to walk in there and see them all trying to outdo each other.... I guess we all have to find ways to pass the time, but sitting around looking like a steam locomotive isn't mine...lol.
I know there are a few stores in the area that are good, but it's a half hour drive to them. Hopefully someone will open a store that caters to everyone, rather than a niche.
