A posting question, for my first post

After lurking here for a few weeks and learning, I saw a guy post about where to find good cheap juice, so I registered to share my knowledge with him.

I know I need 5 posts to start a NEW thread, but it said I have insufficient privileges to even reply to him.

Am I crazy? maybe I just need a first post to begin replying. let's see

You need 5 posts in this section of the forum before you can post in other sections of the forum. That doesn't mean 5 separate threads necessarily, just 5 posts. So feel free to welcome other members/troubleshoot for people in this forum/etc.. The servers update at :25 past the hour.

Hello and welcome to the forum @b0n3h34d. Glad to have you here!

+1 on what @nyiddle said. Once you have 5 posts and you are a "Full Member" you have to wait until the servers update at :25 past the hour. At that point you will be able to post/start threads outside of the new member forum.
