OK I have a problem with my 510 to e-go/evod adapters. Everytime I go to use a kanger, e-go or any female connector tank on my mods they heat up really quick almost burning and I have to disconnect everything really quick so I don't burst the battery. Has anyone else had this problem or know of a way to fix this?

Not sure what part is getting hot, but the heat will appear (mostly at the lowest resistance part oif the circuit. Sounds like a bad adapter, shorting out at the battery side. Are you attaching it too hard? That can compress the insulator between the positive pin and the mod case, causing a short there.

Hmm I have two adapters and I did kind of figure one was bad b/c no matter how tight or loose it was the mod would get too hot to even hold. The other adapter I loosened a bit and the problem ceased and being the a mature scientist I tightened itit down harder and got the same resultscresults as before hand. So yes the tightness was the problem and thank you all for the input.
@iClearoman I had to do what I had to do. It was either the mechanical mod and the kanger tank or me hyperventilating myself on a 350mah e-go battery.

I had this happen twice on my kanger PT. The issue was I burned a hole in the positive insulator. Try changing atomizers.

My problem occurred when I bought the new kanger atomizers. They have a very soft silicon insulator instead of the harder plastic/rubber than they used before. when you apply too much pressure from the battery onto the tank, it squishes the positive shaft to the point of failure.
