Hello, i have purchased a single V4L XL auto battery and another Ultimate kit of Medium batteries, the medium batteries worked great, and i am loving them, but i have a problem with the XL battery, when i tried to use it and after screwing the cartomizer i could not get any vapor, when i drag on the tip, i dont hear that popping sound i usually hear when dragging on the medium batteries, its like the cartomizer isnt heating up,so nothing comes out of it and i also hear a strange sound of air flow through the battery, just air flow, i also noticed that the cartomizer takes less time to screw to the XL battery than to the medium batteries, its like with the medium batteries i need to rotate the cartomizer alot more to get a tight screw to the battery, i am guessing that the cartomizer isnt screwing tightly to the XL battery,i tried different cartomizers but none of them worked with the XL battery, however when i take a drag the LED light on the XL battery flashes, am i doing something wrong or could it be that the battery is not working properly, anybody had the same issue ? i couldnt call the V4L customer service because it is a weekend, so i thought i could ask you guys for some advice before i call them on Monday.

thank you

You should be able to watch the videos on the V4L subforum. Those might help you out. Also...if your LED is flashing then it needs to be charged. Unless it starts flashing after you've taken a really long drag, then that's the cutoff. Otherwise, get your post count up and ask over there, someone should be able to help if it can be fixed.

Welcome to ECF :)

yeah i am glad i got it working finally, its just that now every time i replace a cartomizer i have to move up the battery post with a needle, its kinda frustrating specially when you change from one cartomizer to another alot for different flavors, i wish there was a way to prevent the post from sinking down every time i screw a cartomizer to the battery, i might have to return the battery and replace it :-(

Yeah, I didn't have that much trouble with mine, but it would be frustrating. You have 5 posts now, yay!!! You should pop over to the V4L subforum and see if anyone can give you tips on how not to have to do that every time. Also, there are some CS reps over there that could help and let you know the best way to get a replacement. Hope to see you over there :)
