Hello ECF...1st things first, really glad i found this forum.
I have pretty much the same story as alot of you from what I have read...did the cheap ecig thing and loved it till I hated it and went back to analogs ..discovered the "eGo" and life took a turn for the better, I actually quit smoking the day i received my package from Awesomevapes.com...the rest is history, cig free for 21 days today.

as desperate as I was to quit the transition to an actual "working unit" was easy and i feel so good right now.
Not only that but I also feel like this is not just a fad...this whole thing is about to blow up and get HUGE!! there are tons of people who want to quit smoking and just have not been exposed to the working equipment, I am outspoken to whoever will listen and carry spare tips for strangers to try whenever and where ever..

I think with anything this important its natural to get obsessed with it for the first couple of weeks trying different cartos and tanks and flavors.. I am lucky to have a Vaperite retail store 2 miles from my house.

My name is Jeff and I am pleased to meet you all...vape on

Welcome! Friend!

After trying blu disposable I realized then the I needed to pay a decent amount of money to buy something sturdy and long lasting. Find 150 + dollars, read the forms, expect to pay that for the device. In most cases you will need to purchase juice, rechargeable batteries/with charger, juice, atomizers, economizers and a drip tip.

Then you made a decent investment that will be satisfying and to your long term liking.

Best of luck....read, read, read....best advice I can give as a nubie myself. This forum must contain knowledgeable people with knowledge of lost the Library of Alexandria. Listen carefully.

Best of luck Bud....

welcome, n start stocking up...

Oh, now that is excellent advice. I'm a new vaper too, but I read on a forum that it's a good idea to have a backup for every component of your vaping experience. Make sure you have enough juice to hold you if your vendor is closed due to unforeseen emergency (maybe a fire or employee illnesses, hopefully not but stuff happens) or if it were to get lost in the mail and you needed to reorder. Also, a good idea to have backups for batteries, chargers and any other equipment since eventually they will die with age or get lost.

I too started out with a cig look alike but then I got turned on to the eGo batteries and clearomizers and life is really sweet now. Excellent flavor and vapor every hit without the hassle of refilling cartos. Congrats on quitting smoking! Welcome to the forum!

For the vivi nova heads you rinse them and then dryburn. The video below shows how to do this. The second half of the video is for those who want to rebuild the heads. Set your pv at 3.7 or 3.8 volts for dryburning. Fire for 5 seconds, rest the coils for 3-4 secs, fire again. You may see some vapor from the gunk on the coils being vaporized. The cleaning/dryburning starts at about the 7:15 min mark:
