is it more difficult to fill the black or stainless steal fluxomizers? I want to try these and some of the clear ones that i'm looking at are sold out so I am thinking about trying the black ones. Do you need to fill them before they are completely empty (top off) like regular cartos? I feel like it might be hard to do with the black ones (sorry i haven't seen them in person yet) thanks

well the black fluxomizer is simply a stainless steel fluxomizer with a black sheet material covering it. Very simple to remove the black sheet.

Now filling is a different matter altogether. Both would be the same to fill. Some recommend removing the silicon "cap" that covers the ceramic cup (that houses the heating element) and only using the flat silicon "washer" and then the mouthpiece. This is what I do.

The cap can be difficult to remove and you can risk damaging the element if you snag it while trying to fish out the silicon cap.
By leaving the silicon cap out you'll be able to see down past the ceramic cup to tell how much juice is left.

Not nearly as easy as using the clear fluxomizers, IMHO

thanks guys another question which ohm one should I get for use w/ Ego Batteries?
They should all work fine as they were designed for 3.7 and below ( I believe the eGo is still 3.2) The lower Ω ones will give you a thicker, warmer vapor but on my T-Rex (3.7 eGo style) darker juices can tend to burn 2/3 the way through an Xl Flux.

Someone correct me if I am wrong about the eGo/3.2v.

In one way, the metal tube cartos are easier for me to fill.

By that I mean: When I refill, I remove the cup seal and drip down the side of the cart untill it is full. Then I put the cup seal back in and push it down with the head of a Dry Wall Screw.

With the clear tubes, you have to be kinda carefull when you push the cup seal in or you can seperate the clear tube from the battery connector. You have to line everything up so you don't use any more force than needed.

With the metal tube ones, I just put the seal in and smash it down with the head of the screw. If it isn't lined up perfectly, no problem. Just push harder and it pops into place.

The downside of the metal cartos is you can't see how much juice is in them.

repent - you need a syringe with a needle? or just dont want to do it that way lol
zoidman - you can put the clearo together the same way just dont hold it by the tube. hold it by the threaded part or better yet if you have dead stick battery put it on to use as a handle. then you can push all you want AND can see if its lined up or smashing the wick.

Agree. This is my third day with these and I also ordered black because I was tired of waiting for the clear.

They came with a little tip thingy that I promptly bent while removing the rubber mouthpiece-cap thingy.

The standard GV blunt tip won't slide into the fill hole, but I just put the blunt tip on the outer edge of the cup and start rotating around the edge until I feel the tip catch, then I press down a little and squeeze until I see juice coming up. It kind of looks like the inside of a sinking boat. Once full, I release the bottle which expands and starts sucking in air. I use the suction on the bottle to remove any excess juice in the fluxomizer.

What's even cooler is that the blunt tip is excellent for dislodging the silicone ring. I will place the tip inside the ring and pry up, just a little, and the ring is on the tip. Point the tip up and the ring falls to the base of the tip. Push the ring down, just a little, and it stays put while filling. Once full and the excess juice is removed, dislodge the ring and it will slide down to the fluxomizer. Remove the tip, press down on the ring to make it flush with the top of the carto, then install mouthpiece.

This is the first time I could refill while, say, walking, or sitting in a car, or wherever.

I can top off a carto without ever having to lay anything out, not setting anything down, and only getting trace amounts of juice on my hands.

So how are these fluxomizers working? I really want to try these.

I guess by all accounts I am a seasoned veteran and I can say this.

E2 Cartos work Extremly well for most people right out of the box. And of the small minority that they do not work well, most can be made to work with some easy fixes.

My suggestion is to try a 5-pack and see what you think. There about the same price as 2 packs of analogs which would have last me just under two days back when I was a smoker.
