One thing that is sometimes Forgotten when talking about Hazards is that what May Not Effect one person May have Severe Effects on another.

Telling someone that something is Safe for them just because it doesn't appear to Effect one's self is Bad Advice.

I've read Many posts where people say that they have a Mild Nicotine OD when they tried 8mg instead of their usual 6mg. But others tell me that they feel no Effect unless they Chain vape 36mg.

Everyone is Different.

Using Elementary Safety Precautions around "High" Nicotine is pretty easy. A pair of Gloves and a Pair of Safety Glass (or even Sun Glasses) don't seem all that Hard.

BTW - Safe Storage of Nicotine Base shouldn't be over looked if Children have ANY Access to a person's home.

Back in the Dark Ages when nicotine was used as a pesticide, I mixed up a batch for killing scale at the recommended dosage and sprayed a gallon of the stuff on plants. I was sick as a dog for 2 days, and can still taste that spray whenever I think about it.

I always use gloves when handling 100mg/ml nicotine.

I have a fukien tea bonsai thats sick with mealies right now I am so darn tempted to take a little 100nic thats in the freezer and make up a spray for him. But I dont want to kill it, or me :) I think the last Neem bath and spray in the tub has at least dismayed them. Now if it'll only make new leaves again.

There seems to be a lot of confusion in this thread vs 100mg nic, 1000mg nic, vaping vs getting on your skin, etc.

1000mg nic (pure nic) is not widely available and is super dangerous. There are definitely juice vendors who work with it regularly without all the necessary safety equipement - but it's not something you want to mess with because the cost of an error is potentially your death. I read a post somewhere by a juice vendor who had 500mg nic in his fridge and accidentally drank some while sleep walking . .a crazy story if you believe it . .according to him he ended up in the hospital for over a week.

100mg nic is only 10% nicotine and 90% PG or VG. It is not as dangerous to work with. Nobody should ever advise you not to wear gloves - but plenty of people handle it without gloves. If you spill some on your hands - go wash it off right away . .you don't have to freak out and run for the sink . .but don't just wipe it off with paper towel.

Even 18mg nic will burn the crap out of your eyes if you get it in there . .do not let that happen under any circumstances!

40-60mg nic is enough to potentially kill somebody . .but that's the amount that would have to be absorbed. You don't get perfect absorbtion through vaping and definitely not through skin contact.

Nic is dangerous and caution is warranted .. but no reason to freak out unnecessarily.
