A question about steeping when using liquid

I am wanting on my first order of liquids. I was wondering do I need to let the liquid in the bottle sit and steep some before I fill cart's or do I let them sit and steep after I fill cartridge. How long do you recommend I let it steep ?? I have seen so many different answers to this, 3hours and 1 day all the way to a week in the cartridge and I also seen some suggested that it should sit for 3 days in the bottle after receiving before filling cart's. I am a little confused and want to make sure I let them sit long enough to get the full flavor but also I will be anxious to use them. Any help would be appreciated ??

If you have any attys on hand I would suggest dripping to test where the liquids are at before committing anything to a carto. A few I have tried the day I received them seemed to have one STRONG flavor tone to them. Not that it was unpleasant, but it wasn't what the flavor was meant to be. Seems that 5 days of sit time works well for my TVR stuff. That single strong note settles down and other flavors show up to balance things out. This was really obvious with apple pie, which just gave a strong apple cider taste on day one. By day 5 the apple cider tone setttled down and all these other more subtle flavors showed up in the background. Same with Gingerbread. It was all ginger on day one. By day five the WOW ginger settled down and it really started to taste like gingerbread!

Hi Juanita, Attached to your first order's invoice is a Steeping guide line for our juices, Ginger's Blends. We recommend 4-6 days after shipping. For your flavor to reach it's highest potential a week is needed from the day it is made. You do not need to take your cap off just let the juice sit in at room temperature out of sun light. Hope this helps!

I came here looking for exactly this info, I know some other vendors have recommended to steep with the caps off of the bottles, but I wasn't sure if TVR juices really benefit from that, or any juices. I'm still not totally convinced that steeping with the cap off does that much.

edit: just found the papers that came with my order, and I see right there the note explaining what you said above!
