Hi everyone, I'm new to any sort of vaping community but I am glad to be here.

I had a question I hope you can answer.
For any diabetics here. My first round with vaping went very well. I noticed little to no changes in my blood sugars. I stopped for a while and eventually went back to it. I'm using no nicotine as it had always been a big factor in high blood sugars back when I smoked cigarettes. Its been a week back however I had an extremely high day yesterday. I was between it being deactivated insulin from summer heat or vaping and some sort of sweetener.

For the diabetics here. Do you notice changes at 0mg in blood sugars?

Thanks to anyone who can answer, it was only yesterday out of my week back and my sugars have gone back to normal since. Was just wondering out of a small amount of paranoia.

as far as sweeteners... they are "Synthetic" not real sugar... imagine how nasty a coil would become if the juice had real sugar or corn syrup in it ;)

not too sure how VG/PG breaks down... altho from what Ive heard...VG is part of the alcohol structured compounds...

I have also heard that VG can contribute a bit to higher levels, although I know it isn't causing any sort of bad high as I have had few days ever with highs while vaping. I am not sure where I would be able to find any sort of liquid that is all PG or if there is one that is 70PG/30VG Compared to my normal 70VG/30PG. Just as an experiment in comparable levels.

The highest it got was 360. Although I was able to get it down. It spent most of that one day at 250-300 and I struggled to get it down until the next day.

I'm in a health study right now, I'm not diabetic, but one of the things they check on everybody every morning is blood sugar, then we exercise for an hour they checked again. I get to hear people talk about sugar being high at 160, lol, is why I asked.

Do you think 160 is a good reading? I ask because of the 'lol'.
you know you could be fasting, burning fat and read 160, but you doctor will write a script for metformin if it will keep you coming back every other month. I had to get a waiver from my dr for this study cause my BS is normally under 100 in morning but after exercise its like 130. I just think the AMA has dropped the levels too low to get more people on prediabetic drugs.

160 Is above most target levels. My target is 120 during the day and 150 at night. Admittedly it sits around 150 during the day so im not exactly in target but its not terrible. Its why I had a big freak out over my day at 300.

Wow! That's all I can say. Your blood sugar rises after exercise. I'm going to go tell my doctor it's better to sit at the keyboard all day.

Been diabetic for over 20 years now and a smoker for 10 years give or take but i never noticed any dramatic changes in blood sugar not even when i moved to vaping (been vaping 2 weeks now) only changes i saw were good ones ie : smelling more,no more impression of having something stuck in your throat,no more smoker coughing. Pretty sure stopping the smoke habit stabilised my diabetes more than it ever was tbh.
