This one is for those of you that have your batteries and cartos fallin out of your XL case. It has solved my woes.

Needed for the mod....

1. Scissors(child safety scissors will not work:D)
2. Velcro with an adhesive side(I used industrial strength)
3. Velcro/non-adhesive (I used industrial two sided 1-1/2")
**Industrial strength may be overkill, but overkill is my middle name**

Let us begin......

First cut small strips of the velcro w/an adhesive side. They should be cut the same thickness as the case "slat" it will be fixed to. I used 8 total.....4 top of case / 4 bottom of case. Now put'em on! They should be placed midway between each set of cartos. This will allow you to get your carts and batteries in/out without removing the non-adhesive velcro once it is in place.;);)(see the first 2 attachments below).

Once you have those on, cut 2 strips of the non-adhesive velcro. Cut them the same size as the width of the case. Attach it to the velcro that is adhered to the case and you are done.(see the last attachment below)

Hope that helps.:)

Very crafty! Although it does seem like a lot of effort to overcome a basic design flaw, which I've heard reported several times.

I haven't ordered an XL yet, but might do so. (sure wish they had black as an option, like in the pic) I rotate flavors so often, the 4 or 6 I can fit in the regular case just doesn't seem to cut it.

I wish they had a case variation that was meant for massive carto selection, minimum battery space. IMHO, if its something meant to carry it all to work, for example, I'd rather have more spaces for cartos, and one battery slot. ...The other battery is either going to be in my hand, or on a charger - heh

It's not a lot of effort really. It takes about 5 minutes once the scissors and velcro are in front of you. I figured that I bought a case that had some faults and i was going to find a way to use it.

The dusty weird felt is fixed by going over it a bunch of times with a piece of tape. I used clear packing tape. Use the stickiest tape that won't leave adhesive behind.

Glad to hear of the redesign......I will be glad to buy one when they come out.

Yes......not the best case ever, but it is manageable. 10 minutes after receiving it you can have a functional $11 case(velcro/case/piece of tape).:D
