A real tobacco taste

So far I have tried carmel and cherry...I really enjoyed the carmel and have found that when I do light up a real cig, the taste is almost gagging me. My daughter is trying the red bull and is really liking that flavor and has almost given up 100% on cigs, we did find one that taste like juicy fruit and we both really enjoy that. Thank you everyone for your comments and I think I will keep going with the flavors instead of trying to find a tobacco taste! By the way a big thanks to JJ2 for helping us get started with this!

I tend to slide my Provari under my leg when driving so that I can vape it and park it as needed. The downside of doing that is getting out of the car and forgetting it's there. It will roll out on the concrete when you turn and exit the vehicle! In the winter I put it in an inside jacket pocket for safe keeping.
When I have the Provari with me in the car, I place it on my lap. Which is a bad habit because like you I have forgotten it's there sometimes when exiting the car, and there goes the Provari and pyrex IBTanked onto the asphault. Luckily no harm to either one yet when this has happened. I gave up laying it on the passenger seat as it tends to roll away with turns, and then I have road rage! :-x

I've begun leaving the Provari at home, and bringing my out-and-about Ovale V8 or Smoktech VV Gripper with me. These lie flat on the passenger seat like good mods should. ;)

Maybe there are covers for the glass tank, like a cell phone uses to protect the device when dropped?

Just wondering!

That's great! So happy to hear that.

I actually found a juice that does taste of 'smoke' (......... HS Impulse - Uk supplier). I thought i had found the ideal tobacco smoke taste. After about 2 hours of using it i realised that it was bloody awful.
It was a revelation to realise that i don't enjoy the taste of 'smoke' and actually prefer other flavours.
This is a journey that all vapers must make - search for the holy grail until you realise that the taste of cigarettes is horrible and what you really want is an alternative to stinky old analogues.
Right now i am vaping Liberty Flights Blueberry Cobbler and it is so much better than any cigarette i have ever smoked.

When I started using e cigs 2 months ago I bought an njoy from a gas station. I quickly learned that it was junk but I really liked the flavor. It is the closest "real tobacco" I have found yet. After a day of using the n joy I went and bought an ego t upgrade with a 5ml tank and a dual coil carto with 3 holes punched in it. It worked great and still does. The problem is finding juice that tastes as good as that njoy did! I've tried the 555 and the ry something.... junk. The best I have found that will work is this stuff called "Two Hump" by Supreme Nicotine. It tastes like camels.... or close anyways. What I want to know is, does anybody know if I could buy some njoy juice anywhere? Since they sell the prefilled cartos only as far as I know I have been taking the ones I had leftover apart and squeezing the juice out of them and adding it into my Two Hump juice. It works but it's a pain.

If you have something that is close, but you want a bit more grab, ashy flavor, try adding just a little theperfumersapprentice (tpa) tobacco absolute diluted (cut with 50% pga). Only add 2 - 3 drops per 10ml of eliquid, shake it to mix, test. (start at 2)
Similarly tpa sells a liquid menthol concentrate that can be used to add/ boost menthol flavor. Use it sparingly.

Thanks bud. I'll look that up now. Everybody must be different. I love the tobacco flavor in my e cig. I probably wouldn't have quit the nasties if there wasn't tobacco flavored juice.
I think that having a tobacco flavor initially is one thing that helps in the transition from smoking to vaping. I am still enjoying a tobacco flavor and likely will stay that way. I have tried a number of variants but too many were too much like pipe tobacco or a cigar for me.

Yep. I've ran into a number of pipe tobacco tasting flavors as well. Not for me....
I will be checking out Heather's Heavenly Vapes tobacco flavors. I always liked a pipe tobacco aroma but wasn't a pipe smoker. Might find I like one or two. If so, I would get some for occasional use. I have had a tobacco sample pack from Vaperite which had one very pipe like. Don't remember the name of it right off.

One I've seen mentioned quite a bit is Real Cig from VapingZone. I have no experience with it, but many enjoy it. Real Cig is a super-concentrated flavoring used in DIY at about 2.5%.

I mixed
50% vg @48mg
50% pg
4 drops realcig
10 drops backwoods brew malty (optional) you can use ethyl maltol or cotton candy.

Mixed In a 5 ml bottle
= pretty close to analog satisfaction.

Also for somethings that comes close to an actual cigarette in terms of feeling and satisfaction, I personally like torque 56, vapenstein's London and Paris.

I was in a similar spot when I was moving into vaping. To help identify the kinds of flavors I would ultimately like, I purchased quite a few sample kits from multiple vendors but the one that stands out for me was the Halo sampler - Torque and Prime were both good flavors - I was surprised I liked them especially since they only slightly resembled tobacco to me.

One thing you may find (or may not) is tastes tend to change as the body removes all the crap left from smoking. I've revisited some of the flavors I initially thought were horrible 6 months ago and they taste very different now.

tldr: buy samples, dont throw anything away

:)
