Not a dumb question at all. There's been a lot of discussion of that in here and in the other forums. After reading all that (nothing seems certain, except that sunlight is bad, and refrigeration is controversial at best) I've decided on big coolers with maybe one ice pack per, once summer comes. Dark and cool - but could still get condensation so I dunnos - the styrofoam ones might be best for that? NYS isn't hot like Arizona, but I don't have a closet or a cellar that I'd call 'cool' during July and August. And consensus, which my not be fact, says @ 2 years.
