First, there are no stupid questions, only answers needing to be divulged. :)

My understanding of refrigerating juice is that if it is flavored (as is all of the V4L juice), do NOT refrigerate it as it can turn rancid. If it is plain, unflavored nic juice in a PG or VG base, it can be refrigerated.

Welcome to the forums, and welcome to the V4L family! Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have. There are many helpful people here who are more than happy to assist! :)

ETA: Shelf life is about 2 years. Keep juice in a cool, dark place--but not the fridge.

Oh gosh, jaded, I am not sure about that. I will let another member respond so I don't steer you wrong about it. I was just repeating what I have read here.

How on earth can you stand it at 80 degrees in your house? I can't stand it when it gets over 66 in mine! I love my A/C!
I'm cold blooded lol

There's really no need to refrigerate the juice. Keep it in a cool, dark and dry place and it will last up to 2 years. Each bottle has an expiration date on it.

Initially I buy the small bottles to get a good idea of what I like. Once I decide that it's a favorite I buy the 30ml bottles and a fresh pack of cartos.

I'm still a noob too, 3 months, but stick around here and you'll be a pro in no time.

Welcome.

New to the whole vape thing (and the forums) and was wondering how long V4L juice stays good for if stored in a refrigerator?

I am rather ADD with the whole flavor thing and can't decide if it is better to get the 30ml bottles or the smaller ones.

If you're new to vaping, small bottles really may be better, but buy enough of them, and ahead of time. You will also probably want to try different strengths.

What previous posters have said is that the problem with fridge storage is the possibility of condensation from opening and closing bottles that are in use. The issue of flavored vs unflavored stored in the fridge may be an issue with the flavors themselves, or just a rule of thumb since flavored liquids are more likely to be in use. I have also seen posts that state that light is a bigger issue than heat. I haven't tested it myself so am only reporting what I've read here, not what I know. At work, nicotine that's mixed in saline solution is stored in single use amounts in the freezer. I'm not sure that will translate to nicotine in PG or VG, but I do know that freeze-thaw cycles are not good for most chemicals.

I will also be testing the 'dark but not particularly cool is hopefully ok' theory of ejuice this summer, cause i tend to let my house stay very warm in the summer too.

Not a dumb question at all. There's been a lot of discussion of that in here and in the other forums. After reading all that (nothing seems certain, except that sunlight is bad, and refrigeration is controversial at best) I've decided on big coolers with maybe one ice pack per, once summer comes. Dark and cool - but could still get condensation so I dunnos - the styrofoam ones might be best for that? NYS isn't hot like Arizona, but I don't have a closet or a cellar that I'd call 'cool' during July and August. And consensus, which my not be fact, says @ 2 years.
