vaping has been PROVEN to cause rapid changes in mindset!!

Just kidding... Hey All, New member from Tn. I've been analog free for 3 weeks today. All thanks to a chance whim of buying a Blu kit instead of a carton. I was an Instant convert.. 22 years of smoking a pack and a half a day ended with that first drag. I can't knock the kits, they are a foot in the door, and a light at the end of a very long, smoke filled tunnel. That's one freight train no longer coming my way. Now I just have to control my vape budget.

I have lots of reading to do.. Glad to be here, and be a part of the community.

Keep On, Vapin On.

Way to get our attention Steve

Welcome to you sir, Blu are not my first choice as a starter kit, but if it wasn't for them, I may never have google'd e-cig and found this forum.

Congratulations on the 3 weeks and you are so right, hardest part of vaping is keeping a tight rein on the shopping cart.

It's been a learning curve this past 3 weeks to be sure, and more to go.

There was a lot I didn't like about Blu, but couldn't agree more. I have a lot to thank that little kit for, too much to really put into words, and many things that have even yet to be. Much the same it led to many, many Google searches and eventually to here.

Thankfully not smoking as freed up a nice starting vape budget, and I can't imagine how I would spend as much money a year.. Welll... Hmmm.. I do like toys.. :)

With such a dramatic opening, I really should have had something a bit more profound, but a good chuckle at 2am works too.

I'm quickly falling into the same trap many new vapers fall into: "I got this eGo, but NOW I WANT TO TRY VARIABLE VOLTAGE WITH A KANGER PYREX AND 100 DIFFERENT FLAVORS OF JUICE!" It took me almost two weeks, but I actually have spent more on vaping than I would have on smokes. Once I get my Kanger though, I'll be able to vape my black and blueberry juice and then settle on a nice tobacco flavor as standards, and then try one or two new flavors every couple weeks. :)

Keep telling yourself that as you bust out the credit card and fill another cart with vaping supplies you absolutely must have or you will die :D
In two months, I've managed to go 10 days without buying something new. I thought I was set, backups for my backups, plenty of juice and spare heads, wick and wire - everything I could possibly need.

Now I am going to get a mech, an RBA, an HH357, some mesh, a DCT carto tank and some more juice. Oh, but only because I need them... it's like the hobby I never wanted, but it's just oh so good.

Nice to know it isn't just me.. I already have a gal of PG and VG sitting here waiting on my next shipment to come in.. My SVC lightsaber looks great on the coffee table, and my eGos happy and charging nearby. Tanks, cartos, and trusty clearo drying for the next wonderful samples.. I'm ok trading one addiction for this one. Really, Very ok..

I had seen the Blu kits for a while and never paid much attention to them. I just kept picking up my Marlboro Milds day in and day out. Finally, my best friend told me about his Provari he had been using for six months. I guess I dove in to the deep end because it was my first thing I bought in the world of E-cig's. Little did I know I had dove right in to the deep-end, and I don't regret a single minute of it.
