On several of my clone rda's the barrel was too tight on the deck. Yesterday I found a solution. The rubber o-rings used on most rda's are standard, mostly the chord is 1 mm in diameter then there are various diameters from say 22 mm and getting smaller in 1 mm increments. If the barrel is too tight around the deck use an o-ring that is 1-2 mm smaller in diameter. By stretching the o-ring farther it will stand off less from the deck and the barrel will slide on and off more easily. This has worked on a couple of my rda's.

fasttech sells packs of rubber o-rings for e-cigs in the common sizes for a dollar or less per 20 of each size so for perhaps $10 it's possible to have most every o-ring size that might be needed to adjust tightness of rda parts that are set by o-rings. Found 69 o-rings (Product Type: O-rings) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

My Derringer clone was very tight so I ran a bolt through the drip tip hole with rubber washers and metal washers on each side (rubber against the cap) and tightened it up with a stack of nuts. Chucked it up in a drill, spun it and held emory cloth against the inside of the cap. Didn't take much to loosen it up enough without making it too loose. But I did have everything I needed laying around the house...

Once you`v bought about a dozen or so RDA`s, you start to have quite a selection of spares o-rings, :?)
It would be nice if Fasttech would offer an of assorted o-rings an may be include an assortement of Phillips and hex screws packaged in a spare parts box. That will probably come eventually. There's a product idea that would probably sell.

O-rings come in Handy for Many Things.

I have a v1 IPV Mini. The Seal at the bottom of the 510 Connector over time Disintegrated. It would have been Nice if they had Included an Extra 2 cent Seal with the Mod. But It Didn't.

I did some Measuring and determined that a [HASHTAG]#102[/HASHTAG] O-Ring should work. So I bought some on e-Bay and sure enough they Do.

Bulk Rubber Orings 102 70D Price for 50 Pcs | eBay

Now I have 49 Back-Ups when the O-Ring I used goes Bad.

LOL
