RDA Origen v2 Dripper - Inner Barrel Too Tight On Base

The inner barrel of the the Origen v2 Dripper is way too tight on the base. I have to remove the outer barrel first in order to get enough grip to open the rda to reveal the base. This, of course, gets to be a messy endeavor after I've been vaping a bit. More times than not, the inner barrel comes off violently and hits my coils requiring me to make adjustments to them every time I go to fill the reservoir. The only review I have seen mentioning this problem was from Ruby Roo.

I have lubricated the o-rings, but the fit is still too tight. Will the o-rings in the base ever loosen up? I am looking for some suggestions on how to fix this problem before I start removing material from the base to decrease the diameter. Thanks.

I've had mine for over a year. Sad to say, the barrel is still tight. I can't take it off without removing the outer cover. It does get messy hut still one of my favorite attys. IIRC, the bottom part has 2 orings. You can try removing one and see if that helps
