Oh, my turn! <standing before the group> Hello, my name is Oleta and I am addicted to cigarettes :) Or, at least I hope that's "was" addicted to them ;) I started smoking at Woodstock and as my doctor so recently said, "the original Woodstock????" Young whippersnapper...like it could ever be duplicated <laugh> Original, indeed <growl> And, that's about all I remember from those groups I used to lead years ago...the introduction and those stale donuts! Hmmmm, guess I could also say I am addicted to coffee because of them, too :)

I am a psychiatrist, married to a game theorist who is a professor at Kellogg, Northwestern University's MBA program. Don't think video or board games but rather think math and doomsday devices and how to know what your opponent is thinking before he even knows it himself, that's what he teaches. He inspired me to take up scuba diving late in life (even though I can't swim!) and that means we get to travel to some interesting places :) I have a daughter, 3 stepchildren and assorted grandchildren but no pets (due to the traveling) but I have fond memories of those I used to have :)

I have been away offline for over a year due to a couple of stupid accidents and attending residual health issues but yesterday I was cleared to do almost everything <cheer> and hope to make more of an appearance on the forum :) I have missed everyone very, very much because Morandir is right...it was like family here :)

However, I noticed a large shift before I was forced to leave in that the family was drifting apart. I think V4L has to bear part of the responsibility in that they started another forum on their website which was splitting a very active group. I don't think I *EVER* had the energy required to keep up with two active forums and those who can have my complete admiration :)

So, in summary, and to make a long post short...I'm baaaccckkkk :p

LOL....gotta LUV ya, Wader!

Hi everyone. I am Sally from Southern California. I was a 50+ year smoker, and started
vaping and stopped smoking 2/7/10 (I missed announcing the big 3-yr day). For those
who may be reading this who are new to vaping.....you CAN do it. If I can do it, anyone
can do it. I have been with Vapor4Life ever since. I don't post often, but usually read
the posts every day. I know I wouldn't have succeeded without this forum. I miss so many
of the people who no longer post. I hope they are still vaping, and that they will pop in and
say hello once in a while. Jeffrey, where are you??? Jeff stopped smoking about the same
time I did....and he is such a warm and welcoming member. I am now happily single, I have
three children and four grandchildren. I still use the classic XL batteries and carts, but also
enjoy the Mega carts and the Ego.

What's up V4L peeps,My name is Dale and started my vaping journey with V4L in oct 09 after smoking since I was 13 and will be 51 in May so smoked for a long time, but now going on 4yrs smoke free thanks to V4L.Back in 09 tried a few vendors before found V4L and lets just say they were not up to par. Finally got on here and found V4L and they had the real deal.

Stayed with them for over a year till found another vender in hometown where could just go by and pick up.Still order from V4L from time to time because u definately can't beat there stick batts the VK.Believe it or not still have some that work after using for over a year.I rotate batts alot, and mainly use small auto's for hands free at work.Anyway still poke in here once in awhile and did today when I got the email on new auto DAV.

Good seeing some of u again and thanks V4L,Mark if still there,Steve and crew for helping me kick a 34 yr old habit and hopefully allowing me to be around longer for my 7 yr old son.

Keep Vaping,Dale

Hi all.... long time since I have been on this forum... had to reset my password! Great to see the same faces that I started vaping with! I can't beleive I have been with V4L for a year now and have loved the journey. Can't wait to find out what the latest and greatest new toy they are coming out with... hanging on the edge of my seat... ready for something new to reward myself with!
