... What did you use for capture and editing?
The "live" video was taken with a Flip UltraHD. The Flip files are mp4 and I edited them with Womble's Mpeg Video Wizard 5.0 which can also export in the mp4 format. A great little program for $99. It's like Adobe's Premiere ... but it works. You can assemble video, sound, and stills very easily. The narration was recorded with the H2 Handy recorder and all the sound was edited in Adobe Audition.

not have a sequence where someone takes a drag off an e-cig and exhale vapor into the camera.
All E-cigs produce vapor. That's kind of all they do. The point is ... what's the "hassle factor."
The Go-go's Hassle-factor? On a scale of 1 to 10 ... after the excess plastic on the charger is filed down ... right around zero.
