Just thought I'd pop in and introduce myself. I stopped analogs a week ago from today with the help of my ego c blister pack I bought. I was a fairly heavy smoker so I'm currently vaping at 24mg. I've since upgraded to mini protank 2's (worlds better then the ce4 clearomizer that came with the kit) and am enjoying every vape. My wife is ecstatic that I've made the switch (mainly due to the smell). Anyway, looking forward to learning more and more from you all. Here's to a healthier lifestyle, and years of hanging out here chatting with you all.

You know, we have a rule about infants not being allowed to vape ....

Welcome to ECF Bearded Ninja and good for you on kicking smokes to the curb. I switched about 2 years ago after smoking for 37 years and it's been good. Welcome aboard and make yourself at home :thumb:

Thanks for the welcome wagon. Honestly, I hung on to a pack full of 7 "just in case" smokes for the first 3 days. I never even thought about smoking one so, I tossed them. I have a B&M semi close to my house called Delaware Vapor that has a juice bar. I've been a few times already just to try and write down the ones I like for later. Unfortunately. Compared to prices I see online, I will likely be sticking to getting gear and juices from the interwebs.

Thanks for the tip Lurch, I'll definitely be on the lookout for one. Currently, I'm going to wait a month or so to buy more stuff (have plenty of liquid and extra coils for now). Once I start to buy more stuff I'll be looking into a second (and better) battery. Though I'm not quite ready for RBAs and mechs.

Hi, Ninja, and welcome to ECF.

Great choice you've made to switch. Just one suggestion on purchasing. Get a second topper and maybe a second battery now. Stuff happens. I think we've ALL dropped our gear now and then, and if you break the topper, where's your backup? Likewise, what do you vape while the battery is charging? (I'd recommend any of the variable types. Being able to adjust the power changes the vape. The only other way to change the vape is to put in a different resistance coil.) Many of the bottom coil toppers can use the same coils, so look for that to save $$.

Huh, guess that was three

Browse ECF to learn how to clean and dry burn the coils, it will greatly extend their service life. And when they do reach their end, wash, dry and save them. While you're not there at this time, you may decide later to rebuild them. Easy and cheap.

Thanks for all the tips. I actually already have 2 protank mini 2's, along with 2 iclear 16's. Also I bought 2 additional packs of 5 1.8 ohm coils. For now, I believe I have a decent amount of tanks to use for a month at least. My ego c twist lasts me from the time I wake up, until the time I sleep (which is when I charge it). It works for now however, I will be getting a backup sooner than later. I've considered the MVP 2.0 as it seems that's what the masses are vaping currently (and the features are pretty kick ...). This would be my at home vape, while I'd keep the ego for work.

The MVP is a sturdy mod and I wouldn't worry about leaving it at home. Vape it at work dude! Besides, if you don't have access to USB at work for charging your phone, you can always use the MVP for that!!
