A Wonderful Mix I made--very cigarette-like!

Hi all,
I've been looking for the "holy grail" vape, something to simulate the American spirits I had smoked for over 20 years...I still haven't found it, exactly, but...

I've come really close! I got 60ml of 27 mg Vaperite Organic House extracted tobacco...and wouldn't you know it...it had a somewhat strong stale tea taste, though I loved the TH and the vapor production, full and perfectly balanced...but that tea taste was gonna bother me...

I had also just received about 10 ml of triple flavor 36 mg "dark chocolate" from Vixen Vapors, which I had planned on mixing with some "seriously minty" from Gourmet Vapor, in order to make a kind of "peppermint patty vape"-- really just to salvage the bottle, cuz I found I don't care for mint in my vaping experience.

I put about 3ml of the dark chocolate in my tester bottle which already had 10-15 ml of the Vaperite Organic tobacco, and voila! No more tea taste...what's more, you can't taste the chocolate! It just cut the tea taste out somehow! And even seems to have brought out more of the tobacco taste in the Vaperite liquid...

I didn't merely salvage the 60 mls (I always buy too much untested liquid...will I ever learn?) I think I hit upon the closest analog analog (lol) I've found yet!

If you happen to have these liquids around, (or something equivalent) give it a shot...It's pretty close to perfect.

Congrats! Must have had a Zen Moment there, to risk a fair amount of juice in an experiment like that.

I hit one of those the other day... 40% Boba's Bounty and 60% VS Phoenix. Don't know what it tastes like but it ain't too bad!

That's how I ended up with the current habit of adding a drop or two of pickle flavoring to my tobaccos... Doesn't taste like pickle, but it's a great herbal note...

Glad you got a good tasting vape. I'm not a fan, but apparently lots of folks like a cocoa or chocolate undertone to their tobacco.
BTW, I've never gotten a stale tea taste from VR's organic tobaccos, but I have found that they (like most organics and "naturals") need an additional week or two of sitting on the shelf with the top off before they are fully cured.

I also get a stale sweet tea flavor from many tobacco vapes, including Vaperite. Good to know about adding the chocolate. I will give it a shot and report back.

Using a juice additive like FlavourArt's Bitter Wizard might help too.

Liberty Flights Flavourart Flavouring

Although I don't get the stale sweet tea taste (and as a 59 year old Southerner I am intimately familiar with that taste), I do find that the Organic need a little something to give it an edge unless I run it HV. I add one part Perique to 3 Organic to do the same thing as the Bitter Wizard claims to do.

Bitter Wizard was originally formulated to counteract the sweet taste of PG and VG, to use when you wanted a completely non-sweet juice.
