A7 MINI Stainless Steel Rebuildable Atomizer Kit

It doesn't say the size on their page, but I've attached an image that kind of gives you an idea:

And I personally don't have a problem with the height of the A7 -- helps me hold more juice for less squonking :)

How so?
Once the juice gets past the height of the air/juicefeed hole your coil is practically swimming in liquid...

From my understanding and my personal gripe, is that there is an unnecessary amount of airspace, above the coil. Thus making unnecessarily long. a shorter cap would easily solve this problem without affecting the performance of the A7

smaller air cavity = warmer vape

While I totally sympathize on the height issue - there's a lot of empty space inside that cap - the narrower width is HUGE. I'm just waiting for Alice to get hers and verify it'll fit in a Mini's well, and then I'm getting one for my Mini 2.0.

Edit: is anyone selling shorter aftermarket caps for the A7? NICHE WAITING TO BE FILLED HERE!

I do agree that there is much wasted air space in most of the caps. And I do like the design of the deeper well just the positive of wicks "swimming" in the well; almost tank like. The now, only, solution/compromise for this is the Surface. It has a well, similar to the A7(s) and bottom attachment air intake, and has a reasonably short cap. In addition, it does have a (what looks like) delrin grommet in the cap to keep the excess juice from leaking out even when PV turned up side down. For less than $70 mailed, it looks like the closest thing to "perfect" we are going to find. (Just think about how many RBAs you are going to try before finding "perfect.") Some of us will know in a week or so when they arrive to US and are delivered. ChrisEU, from Germany, has already received his.

The ends of my wick dangle down into the "well" inside the atty. After I put on the top cap, I take about 6-8 inches of yarn, and coil it inside the cap. The bottom of it rests in the well, the top of it comes up almost to the drip tip. It leaves a perfectly good 1/4" hole for the vapor, and soaks up extra juice. Since my reo is usually fairly vertical, it keeps the wick very wet, without flooding, and without having the extra juice leak out of the connector. It holds about 1.5ml of liquid this way.

Incidentally, it makes for slightly cooler vape, which is what I wanted in the first place. Without the extra filler, my atty gets too hot to be touched.

Would be interesting if Rob would mod it similarly to what he did to the Phoenix.

Like shorter caps with an option of the airhole, and fixed positive connection screw. I'd probably pay more for that than the regular A7, and I'd imagine others would too.

Just like reomizer is worth more than the standard Phoenix.
