A7 RDA help

I received my first rebuildable today. An A7 rda and it will not fire at all. All I can seem to find anywhere on the subject is in sales descriptions that say the "A7 has a center pin that may need to be adjusted outward to make contact." But there doesn't seem to be any instructions on how to accomplish this and quite frankly I don't understand what it means... Help!

Okay, so it will fire when I place it on a regular ego battery, but it will not fire on my epipe mod... Weird.
