Excellent. Interchangeability is good. I also saved that chart. I'm unsure if it is obsolete or not. I know some say it is, others say it is accurate, but I'm kinda looking at it more along the lines of a guide than anything else, not something really set in stone. I'm not very good at the maths and engineering, so I'm taking an approach that has served me well in the past--simply trying different things and finding out what I like and what I don't like.

As to spinners I imagine that I'll purchase one eventually. I can't really afford to buy one straight away, though it seems one can never have enough batteries. So I'm putting it on my wish list. I'll also probably get a pass thru too--also wish list. My aim really is to get 1 kit, one extra batt, and some clearos/cartos and some juice. And add to my hardware and software a little week by week.

...That said I did save Baditude's list of juices with lime flavorings. I'll definitely want to try those out at some point, as I happen to really really like lime based flavors, ever since I was a little kid. I blame my mother on that because she used to get me a store brand lime flavored (not key lime pie--just regular lime) yogurt that I really really loved. Unfortunately they stopped making it when I was around 12. But I clearly remember how it tastes. My usual luck, I really like something but I'm the only person on the planet who does. LOL.

Here's something for future reference. There are several sites that let you customize juices, if (like me) you're not ready to get into DYI. I order from ECBlend often, since they offer a wide variety of options and they are one of the least expensive e-liquid vendors. I have had lots of fun thinking up combinations, some of which were good, but others I have to admit were quite horrible. Lime yogurt...hmmm...maybe lime and whipped cream? 01 Create Your Own E-Liquid Wizard by ECBlend - ECBlend They also have an ongoing 20% off coupon "10020."

Actually I'll probably jump into DIY juice pretty quickly. I've been reading that forum pretty heavily. And I think my background as a chef will help me there. That said I will keep that link in mind, its better to save it and not need it than need it and not have it. ;)

In fact I was reading the Liquid Tobacco Extractions forum lately. I already have in mind something to try with some of my pipe tobaccos when I stop smoking entirely. I'm going to try some things with some Frog Morton on the Town and maybe a toasted Cavendish. I even have a couple cigars that I'll never smoke I might want to play with. Never liked smoking cigars. They all taste the same and smell terrible.

Okay update time. After himming and hawing and waiting for my refund check I finally broke down and went to LJesmokes. Since their B&M is local to me I went there. I rather liked the service. The customer service person was rather knowledgeable, of course I don't know if that is him actually knowing what he's talking about or me being a noob. I also got 2 10mL bottles of a tobacco flavored juice. Their "Cowboy" and "Winston" variety. Now I personally like Winstons when I smoked--well Winston Selects (I can't remember if they still make those or not, I haven't smoked analog cigs in forever favoring a pipe and all) But I will say this.

The Cowboy (in 24mg) is pretty good. Nice tobacco flavor but I couldn't put a brand name on it. I could see it easily being an all day vape for me, but I'm keeping my mind open. Just because I'm comfortable with tobacco flavors now doesn't mean that my tastes won't change once my tongue gets uncoated with all that tobacco goop.

The Winston (in 18mg) is awesome. It is light and tastes just like a Winston Select as I remember them (minus the burning ashy flavor). That too could be an all day smoke.

At first I was concerned about PG because I don't like aromatic pipe tobacco because PG is used as a humicant for those and they have a tendency to burn my mouth. However, it seems that if PG is the problem then it was PG as it was being burned that caused the problem. So I don't have any sensitivities to it now, but who knows--I'm just going to take it one day at a time.

Anyway I did buy the same rig that I posted here though I got the two battery option. The price increase from using a B&M (they have more overhead than online) was still reasonable but it made more sense to buy the kit with two ego batts than one by about 5 bucks.

Over all I'm quite happy and would recommend them to any vaper in Central Florida who was looking for a B&M.

Now that said, I also stopped by the local wally-world. Apparently they don't have vg or pg in my local one. So I may have to order that online. However, I'm more comfortable ordering small things off the net like that then I am equipment like a PV. Yeah I know--I'm weird and/or old-fashioned.

Okay enough fanboy nonsense from me.

^5 on the second battery! We always recommend that, so you can vape one while the other is charging. It's nice to have a B&M, especially if they let you try flavors (the one here doesn't), but I prefer to order online, since you can take advantage of sales and coupons. At first I thought even if the store front was a bit more expensive it would offset the price of shipping, but with the cost and sales tax I haven't found that to be true. Vape On!

You're probably right about that. I just have hesitancy to order things off the internet. Yeah I'm weird and/or old-fashioned. But to me when it comes to equipment I want to touch it and hold it and look at it. That really can't be done online. Sure, you got a picture but a picture and holding something are completely different.

And yes I did get to taste some of the juices. Hence why I selected the two I did. I knew that it would be easier psychologically to vape a tobacco flavor than a fruit or something. Not saying I won't vape those it is just easier psychologically right now. I think though depending on my juice levels, I might go for an other 10 mil of one of the two I got now and maybe a vanilla or something in about two weeks or so.

That said since I got the PV, I did smoke a bowl of analog tobacco. I already find the flavor inferior. However I think I might be dealing not so much with the nicotine, because it isn't a "nic fit" type craving those can be vaped a way in one or two drags. Rather I think it might be some of the other chemicals in the tobacco itself.

Hey Abe !

Congrats on making the leap...I know that you will like vaping, as it is so close to pipe smoking.
In a very short time, as you continue to vape you will find the pipe tobacco to be not so much a pleasent companion as it once was.
The vape is a much cleaner, lighter cloud that burned tobacco.
The flavor may start out more muted- as your mouth, tongue and tastebuds become cleaned up- in time you will taste the vapor better.
You will now be more incliend to pick up your vape gear as opposed to your pipe and tobacco, and lighter.

I am happy you got the kit with 2 batteries- it's only a few dollars more- for the extra convenience, worth it !
Wishing you well !

Well the hard part is was convincing the old lady. She was/is more skeptical than I am. She's a non-smoker and a non-vaper, and I think she's concerned that it is a scam. My pipe habit was something like 30 bucks a month and I really don't think vaping can get cheaper than that unless I start building attys (I could probably diy juice though but I'm probably not mechanically inclined enough to build mods).

The Winston flavor though is really good with coffee. I like that. I like coffee and a smoke, so I'll probably like coffee and a vape. (well honestly I can already say I do like coffee and a vape. Just had a cup of Colombian with hazelnut creamer and some stevia with the Winston.) And the vapor itself is well its thicker than smoke, and cleaner tasting. I can tell that already. I imagine though it will be a tough few days having to consciously choose to not smoke, I think I'm less worried about the nicotine than I am the other things in tobacco smoke. There are at least 30 MAOIs that I know about in smoke, and all of them are likely addictive.

Okay I've been vaping my rig for a bit. A little here, a little there. Kinda like I do with my pipe I mash the button and take a puff when I want one. But I was sitting on the forum reading some threads and was puffing with a pretty standard frequency, about like as if I were smoking, and I noticed on my clearomizer that the top part near the drip tip was getting cloudy with what appears to be water vapor. Is this a normal occurrence?

If it helps I am currently vaping a 24mg Cowboy tobacco flavor with a 70/30 pg/vg ratio.
