? about 4.8/5v vs 3.7v batt life with same watts at atty.

I'm patiently waiting to get a Grand, (would be a metal 18490 but I can't wait that long!) and am currently shopping for batteries.

I see that both 4.8/5 volt OR 3.7 batteries can be used. I have done the reading and don't care about volts, just watts and battery life.

The 3.7v batteries have a higher mAh rating, but need low resistance atomizers, which drain the battery faster, to reach the same watts that a 5v battery would have with a higher ohm atomizer.

So, which battery is going to deliver the most battery life out of a Grand under identical vaping conditions assuming that each battery's atomizers have been selected to produce the same wattage?

If you are just after watts and battery life the AW and Panasonic are your best bet for sure, even with LR atty/carto you will get better battery life than the 4.8v battery. There are other variables to a good vape than watts though, a higher surface area coil provides a thicker vapor that some find more satisfying. This is achieved by higher voltage/ohms or higher resisted heating wire also resulting in larger surface area even at LR. Different strokes. Just my 2 pennies. :)

I totally agree with Sammy! I actually prefer the 4.8v setup and its all I run in my Grande currently and I've tried both. Love the thicker clouds of vapor and they still last a pretty decent amount of time I always have spare batts so no biggie for me to change them a little more often just my :2c:
