Sorry to hear about that. It's either your taste buds have died. Which happens when after you quit cigs for a bit OR the juice you got was really old. Which is a pretty good possibility/gamble you have to take with juices from China. They are rarely made to order but rather. They are made in big quantities and stored for unknown amounts of time before it reaches your door.

If it is your taste buds then it should come back eventually. It's a good idea to vape something like menthol or cinnamon which is strong in flavor until that happens. That'll get you by for a little bit.

Well, there is a difference between steeping and aging. Steeping is best left for a majority of US vendors that make their juice fresh and send it out for delivery. Aging can effect flavor since that bottle might be either a year or two old. Don't know how long that bottle has been sitting on the shelf. So, that's just a guess on my part.

It's true that some juices get better with time. For example, BWB juices generally taste great 1-4 months after purchase. But, after lets say 8 months then the flavor can start to diminish. Depending on where it came from and how much flavoring was in the juice to begin with.

I've read in several threads that you can add food flavorings to e-juice found in craft store cake decorating sections, but I've only seen one brand listed. Are all food flavoring brands pretty much the same to "fix" an e-liquid, or are there certain things to be leary of? What about the grocery store's McCormicks?

You really have to watch out for the different types of flavorings found in the grocery stores. Something like Loranne's is ok to vape but, others are not. Which can lead to complications with your health. Check out the DIY juice section for clarification.

You add professional no-sugar generally PG-based CONCENTRATED flavorings, not the stuff in the grocery store. Liberty-Flights.com may have Flavourart RY4 flavoring. But every RY4 is different. And you can check if Perfumer's Apprentice has an RY4 flavoring.

And are you sure the juice is at fault and not your atomizer? As atomizers get gunked up and the coil gets caked with charred on juice, they start producing weak flavor. Ditto for old cartomizers. I can get about 10 days out of one. When I used atomizers I tried to clean them every weekend, especially since at that time I didn't know how badly dark/cloudy/opaque juices clogged/caked up coils.

Also, what you were vaping (or eating/drinking) right before vaping a flavor can change you perception of the flavor. Like if you were vaping a very sweet flavor, a more lightly sweet flavor afterwards will not seem sweet at all.
