Posted this in another thread since people seem to be sometimes having trouble finding the Lipton Pyramid bags at their local Walmart or other stores. Wanted to put this in it's own topic as I feel that it will be helpful.

"Also I would like to suggest that everyone ASK A STORE WORKER about the Pyramid bags. I about missed them when I went looking for them because the box is a lot smaller than you think it is. And if they only have like 3 available flavors there like my Walmart did, you may miss them completely.

So if you go in there and are scanning the shelf for them and don't see them, keep scanning or ask a store worker, they may be there and you missed them. Also, they should be able to tell you if another local walmart has them."

My problem was finding who actually carried them in my area. This helped me finally find them.

LIPTON Tea - Find A LIPTON Tea

Excellent and helpful post! I always just wondered if people who say that they went to Walmart actually asked a worker there or if they just missed seeing them and left the store. I'm not saying that anyone is stupid or anything, but I know that I darn near missed seeing them!

I posted this in Mooby's how to thread, but I'll throw it here too. In Michigan (maybe Ohio and other states too, not sure), Meijer carries them. And yes, the boxes are small. Like the size of the old boxes of 3.5 floppy disks.

I've seen them in different colors for different flavors. Red, white or black boxes.

We have Meijers here in Ohio, but they seem to be around the bigger cities, like Columbus. So there isn't one of those around here for about 100 miles. We only have the good ol Walmart down in the country.

I saw in another thread that some flavors may have different material for the Lipton PTB. I am using Bedtime Story (only ones they had) and it has the material that is represented in the first picture here. I have not tried the other one. The ones that I use work well. It may be a good idea to create a list of flavors and the type of material they use. I wish I could help more but these are the only ones I have.

I have so far tried three (Peppermint, Camomile, Red Berry) out of the 8 or so flavours in the Lipton Infusions range sold by Tesco in the UK, they are all the second type and I have no reason to believe the others will be any different. I think this might well be a US vs. Europe manufacturing difference, I've never seen any of the flavours I see Americans talking about getting Lipton PTBs in. I have also been unable to source a distributor who can send me US Lipton pyramid bags in the UK.

Why does it have to be pyramid ? Why not regular lipton bags ?

Lipton's uses a completely different bag material for their 'pyramid' tea bags. Looks like it's made out of some sort of plastic as opposed to paper and the difference it makes in the cartridge is huge.

When I went looking for it, I was looking for the standard Lipton's yellow/orange box and almost gave up when I couldn't find it, but then looking up, in a box about 1/4 the size of their regular boxes I found it! If your store has a specialty coffee/tea section it's probably there. The store clerks might not know what a pyramid tea bag is, but if you ask them about Lipton's long leaf tea (Black Pearl is what I got) they might know...

I found blank carts with PTB filler already in them at one of the ecig suppliers online. Unfortunately, I can't remember which one now. But, I just thought I'd let everyone know that they're available. BTW, I haven't tried them. They might really suck. I plan to try them tho, because I tried the tea bags, and didn't have much luck. I must have done something wrong.

I am a newbie at this, so at the risk of sounding moronic, what do you use these for?

I bought a manual 510 on the recommendations of some of you and am trying to figure out how to go forward with my project so I can get off the cigarettes. I have not yet quit until I can understand and obtain all of the goodies I need to refill the cartridges, because if I run out, I'll just start smoking again.

I have figured out that my addiction is not so much the nicotine, as it is the smoke hit.

You can order them for delivery right from the Lipton Tea site, as well.
LIPTON Online Store

I can't find them in Antigo. I was in Milwaukee on Monday and two stores didn't have them, although my old store did CARRY one flavor, of course they were out. The locator on the Lipton site couldn't find them within 100 miles of my house now. I'm going to Wausau today anyhow and hoping to find them there!
