I've been receiving some comments regarding the timing of my newsletters, mainly that the items people are waiting for, seem to appear for sale on the site a few minutes before customers receive their newsletter.

The way I do things when items come into stock is as follows:

  1. I prepare the newsletter in advance.
  2. I list the stock in the shop and update the cache so that it it shows as available.
  3. I immediately send the newsletter.
The reason for the small delay that some people have reported is that it takes the server a little while to process the hundreds of recipients that are signed up to the newsletter.

If I sent the newsletter in advance of placing the products in stock, I would then get many emails from people stating that the items were not actually in stock as advertised.

I do it this way because it makes most sense and is as fair as I can get it. I understand that it's frustrating to miss out on a new product that you might be very excited about getting, but please be assured that I am trying to do my best to make it fair for everyone and I shall continue to do so.

Well i did order the afsv2 before the newsletter was received, the good old F5 key method worked well!
heheheheh
I've got a suspicion that some people have got some sort of utility that can automatically update them when stock status has changed. Although there is an auto-refresh feature on some browsers, Opera being the most notable..........

Drip tip ....!This is to work with AFS or is for dripping only ?
They are just in and I haven't tried them with the AFS yet. Imeo's mouthpieces will give the best performance I think because they are specially designed for the AFS.

This is NOT a GG product by the way.....
