Ok. SO. I have A trident RDA. I'm using 30 Gage Kanthal Wire, with EkoWool 2.5 mm.

I've built tons of coils, but EVERY time. It either gets burnt or it gives off a weird taste.. I AM DEFINITELY MAKING SURE THAT IT IS WETTT. I drip it every 2 puffs... And this happens within 5 puffs. They're usually around 1.5 to 1.8 ohms. I've tried EVERY wattage/ voltage and every time I get the same results.

Am I missing something?? Is there a step I need to do that I am just not doing?? PLEASE HELP. I am so TIRED of brand name tanks and now I am almost fed up with RDAs... It seems like EVERYONE is having a fantastic experience with vaping, but me...

PLEASE HELP! :(

You have moved into rba/rda too soon and you are now paying the price. I am seriously glad that my protank-ii was a good teacher for wicking 101. Now my Aqua works wonderfully. Thank You Innokin for making the protank-ii it is a wonderful product and is also a great teacher.

Kanger tech?

I would try less wick, learn to build micro coils for consistent wrapping and switch to cotton wicks and see if you get a better taste. I haven't built any standard coils since switching to micro (smaller diameter and coils touching). Good luck!

Here's an example:

You want your wick to slide through coil with slightest resistance, if you're not able to take pictures right now.. should've added that to first post. :)

Edit- zoned out watching Joe Rogan stand-up...

Editedit. Ok, try more wraps, less wick(since you're using ekowool, get a bit just a hair bigger... didn't play with silica long, so I can't tell you exact size for it...looks like you're wrapping on wick, so you're wrapping too tight), and space coils evenly.. or do the easier thing and do a micro coil.
