Just a heads up. Firefox 3.6 is the only browser I have available on this machine so I can't speculate as to any other version or any other browser. This is displayed at the top of about me pages:

Good to see it's not just me It must be that version of FF or something. I still haven't gotten around to updating to a newer version to see if it goes away

I upgraded to FF 10.0.2 and that text no longer appears

Well, it is the last stable release for Windows XP. Anything newer is recommended to be run in W2K compatability mode.

No matter, though. It was time for me to create a fresh VM for what I do anyway, so a new virtual image and the newest firefox running in W2K compatability seems to have sorted it out.
