I'm a hopeful agnostic...I really don't know if theres a God...but hopefully there is otherwise i've wasted alot of time doing good

xa xa nice opinion. baby born and its good. Later it became a little bad as all people. So what make us bad? Other people before us. They became bad because they wanted to be better than others. But they try the wrong way and they stay the same as always or a little worse, and then more bad and......finally they dont know what they are.:nah:

I believe in Jesus and his teachings but I also consider other philosophies such as Hindu and Buddhist.

I too have looked into buddhist philosophies.
Hello, chicos and chicas - this is foxxytruelove,

I was lurking behind Truelove (as I tend to do sometimes), and noticed you guys have brought up the controversial topic of religion. Though not religious myself, I consider myself very spiritual.

I respect all religions because after all no matter what you call HIM/HER/IT it's still one entity, right? I'm sure these threads get dicey right away when everyone chimes in with their views on this subject. I have always felt that religion, much like politics shouldn't be discussed. However, so long as its kept clean and views are respected no matter how unorthodox they may seem to others, I'm ...

I have found good points to all religions and just take that which suits me as proper and leave the rest as man made confusion. Perhaps the Hindu views are really more enlightened then people are lead to believe. Other religions seem to do their best to detour people from learning anything at all about such things.
foxxy agrees with you vince ;-)

To post on religion on this forum is like going into a quit smoking forum with e-cigs. The quit smoking forum are quiting cold turkey and are having a hard time. They have quit for awhile now and someone comes in on there forum talking about how quit smoking with e-cigs are easy.
They get mad and want that person to leave. They do not agree and they had to suffer in there quitting. They do not understand e-cigs.

They suffer in there quitting and want others too also.
No one is going to agree on religion. With this being said,I am a religious person and also a spiritual person. Some people can be only one.
Some people do not want to hear other ideas of religion or spirtual things.
I am always open to new things.

Thats not true. I am open to religion. Not that, I will believe the same way. I will listen and think. It just there is so many religions and so many opinions. I will say this, I cannot go to a church that does not have music. That church is not for me.
A friend tried to get me to go and I would not. I love music and worship music the most.

Sakis, in USA there are mostly Christian religion. The Christian religion has many different beliefs. You can believe in Jesus, but there are different opinions on this.
I mention the church that does not have music. The church believes in Jesus without any music. My religion is Christian and my belief is the Pentecostal way.

Now there are many Pentecostal believes. They believe in Jesus, but have different opinions.

There is a Pentecostal that believe that a woman cannot wear makeup or cut there hair.
A woman must wear a dress down to there ankles.
This is Not the Pentecostal that I believe in.

What I am trying to say is there are many Christian religions with different ways that they believe.

Sakis, there are people that believe in Jesus but do not believe in miracles. They say that miracles are past. There are churches that do not believe that Jesus performs miracles and there religion is Christian.

If they dont believe in miracles then what they believe? Why they believe? They believe to whom? Remember that we are talking about God and not for me or you. Do you believe in me that I can make great cigs? ok then but you dont ask me for mercy, you dont ask for help when you are sick, but you ask Him for everything you cant find in people's sosiety.

So God is someone that can do things that we cant. So why to believe someone who is a common man like e.g. comfukious or boudas or someone else?

I only ask without any purpose, I just want to see how people think outside Greece:):)

I cannot answer your question. I do not know why some do not believe in miracles.
I myself do believe. There are millions of Christians that do not believe in miracles.
Even if they themself got healed, they say that the body did this or something else.

If someone gets heals they say, they was not really sick. Yet they believe in Jesus.
