Hello everyone, new guy here. I have been vaping for a couple months now, I have an old Smoking Everywhere Gold that fits the RN4081 cartos, I also have a Aquavapor 510 with cartomizers that I use. I LOVE the tanks that people have, but have no real clue how they work. Is a tank just a really big carotmizer, or do I need to buy something other than the tank for it to work. Very interested on getting started, any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dr Phill ,A tank Is (generally) a resivoir, that feed the cartomizer through a hole in the outer wall of the cartomizer. They work on the basic siphon principle, when you suck air through the air passing through pulls a little of the liquid into the filler of the carto to re-wet the filler and replentish what you have just vaped away.
Ther are other tank type things Like the Vivi Nova, Kanger t-2 and the rebuildable Stardust that are an atomizer suspended in the tank with a wick that feeds the atomizer coil, these work on a similar principle except the heater is usually a replaceable part instead of being inside a cartomizer. Most of these are either 510 threaded(Vivi) or eGo threaded (T-2 & Stardust), eGo thread being the outer skirt thread rather than the standard 510 inner....you may want to consider an eGo style battery to go with either type because generally the tanks, either style, use a low resistance coil or carto...... Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

Yup thats it, some basic, some not so much..... Heres one that would get your feet wet to both things in question..... GP eCo-U CE2 MINI Kit , I regularly make all my purchases with this vendor and have nothing but praise for them. Have been doing business with him now for almost two years and have always had good experiences. I would say this, and maybe the cc2.4 rebuildable and you would have a great little unit, plus if you get over 30$ there is no shipping, and the unit there is also 4v, so it would be a stronger vape than the 4081or510..... and the coupon tvc friend still works for 5%off.....

You might want to look into the Ego Twist. I haven't gotten around to buying one yet so I have no experience with them. From what I've read on here people like them and they're variable voltage (not much of a range though). Do a search for the word "twist" and you should come up with a lot of threads about them. I think they'd be a better option than a standard Ego.

No problem. If you do get that eCo kit drop me a line and let me know how you like it. I thought about getting a couple to give out as testers to folks looking to get into vaping, I have almost all my regular joy egos and clones out on loan and my supply of loaners is getting thin.....I figured for $20 its almost a no brainer....... Keep Us posted, see you around.
