Carto Tank Question

Getting into carto tanks and I have a quick question.

What cartomizer would work for this tank? Not sure if i need regular or xl. Also, is that tubber tool needed for filling? Out of stock were i am ordering from.

5ml = XL. Make sure you put about 20 - 30 drops of eliquid in the carto before putting it in the tank. 10 at a time and then twirl it a few times to work the eliquid down. I use this fill tool:

I have read not all brands are good for carto's

The tool isnt needed persay but makes life a little easier.

Is that tool needed?

It makes it easier to do your initial fill of the tank with a new carto and to add eliquid when needed. But it isn't absolutely needed. Here is a less expensive alternative:

Look at this one first if you havent. Get the XL cartomizers in 3.0 ohm punched with two holes. This comes with the tool your talking about and you can also use it as a drip tip. The Pyrex glass on this one is MUCH thicker than what you are looking at. This one is also sent oujt with a bunch of extra O ring seals.

25 bucks..... You will read about this tank over and over in these threads from thje veterans....

Totally agree. I am running two of those, and want to buy more. I buy my cartos there too. Also, for the OP the drip tip on the complete tanks works as a carto tool. I prefer my slap yo momma, but the IBTanked drip tip will work just fine for you.
