As long as it is properly treated to be free from manufacturing chemicals, I believe it to be one of the cleanest or safest wicks. I don't have any scientific evidence to back up my belief. I just developed my opinion from common knowledge of the materials available and some common sense.

A friend swears by the Ready-X wick. It can be dry-burned to simon white, repeatedly.

On a vapers standpoint here, I believe it is kind of only for lung hitters who are used to taking long draws at a time. I'm a mouth to lung guy so I need a quick heat up and that restricts me to very low ohm builds normally. Of all the complicated coils I build, I'm not even able to use any of them because I need low ohm builds that heat up fast. Ceramic wicks have a much longer heat up than I am used to, but for safety concerns and people who want the vape to be a consistent and clean vape, I do not doubt that ceramic wicks can be something that works great.

I like silica and ceramic wick, because they don't need to be replaced as often. I vape gunky NETs, cotton last 1 day if I'm lucky. Then it must be replaced. With silica and ceramic I still have to clean my wick almost everyday. But instead of basically rebuilding the atty, I just dry burn and rinse. Wick can stay in place in the coil till the coil dies.

hello, everyone, what do you think the ceramic wick is good or bad ?

could you be a bit more specific as to what you are talking about?

tanks used to come with silica wicks.
over time the silica wicks would deteriorate and eventually fall apart.

a solid ceramic wick that would not deteriorate would be nice
