99% sure it's the same, but 2 problems:

1) Ceramic wicks need to be baked in a kiln after production - So unless you have something that can reach those temperatures (1800º F iirc) then using this material un-treated poses health risks.

2) I believe I read in a thread that some vendors will check to see what you're using it for, so OMEGA might not even sell to you if you say you're using for vaping to avoid lawsuits (See reason 1).

Though to be honest... I've tried some from RBA Supplies, and I wasn't impressed. It works, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't the "OMG" experience I was expecting for the price. I'm much happier using SS/cotton.

When you say "It works", to be clear,
do you have to replace it eventually, or will it last indefinitely or years/months?

It still gunks up eventually like every other kind of wick, I guess you could dry burn it and re-use it a few times... But I got it to try in my gennys so I wouldn't have to mess with the problems SS presents. Pretty much just used the stuff I bought in a few different builds to try it out and plain ol' solid rolled #500 SS mesh won in the end :p Can't speak as to how it works in non-genny attys, since I'm more than happy with cotton in those.
