In my experience, and this is only the penstyle. The more sensitive magnetic switch batteries seem to last longer than the plunger type batteries in terms of the switches not crapping out. The plunger always gets gummed up and I have to hit on something or try to clean it out with a paperclip. Sure the magnet switch is overly sensitive, but wouldn't they be better for the usb passthrus? Seems to me that alot of the passthru failure rates seem to be because of the plunger switch crapping out. Was wondering what the rest of you think about this.
