Hey all, its been over a year since I bought a ton of DIY ingredients. I am hopefully ready to use up the last of my stuff in a third and last major batch. Im a little concerned that some of this stuff may be expired/ unhealthy to use..? I have pre-made saline (using tablets), wizard lab flavors of all kinds, pre-made menthol (using crystals) and nicotine, all over a year old. I think I will be using up the last of my room temp nicotine halfway thru this batch and will have to break out the nicotine that I have stored in my freezer this whole time. My nicotine says retest date- Feb 2015 and the VG says best before Feb 2015. My PG has no expiration date. Has anyone used ingredients that are more than a year old? Hate to have to toss this stuff.

I would not worry about VG and PG, they should be fine. As for nicotine, it may be fine also. It may be a bit weaker, and it may be too peppery. If you do not see difference in taste of your juices, then nic is OK. Have no idea about flavors (I would use mine if it is of the same color as in the beginning and has a nice smell, but I cannot advise you to do the same).

Other then the Nicotine and saline I would'nt worry about the rest. I would make a sample base using that old NIC without flavor and vape it. If it's to harsh then you may want to break out that fresh NIC in the freezer and toss the old NIC. As far as flavors as long as there not flavorings made from natural ingredients they will be fine.
