about to start DIY. A couple of menthol links?

Yes i did some searching; with little avail. I would like to do my next round DIY. I just want a basic mint/menthol. I would like it on the stronger side, flavor-wise. I've bought some rather expensive ejuice that was fantastic. After buying some much cheaper menthol/mint juice i am disappointed. So i want to make some of my own. I love mint/menthol(as an analog smoker i rarely smoked menthol.) I don't want to pay $12 per 30 ml bottle of juice. Especially since it seems to me that a mint/menthol DIY should be as easy as it comes.

Please point me in the right/cheapest direction. I've been looking at wiz labs for my base.

Sorry, i should have been more specific. I'm Kinda looking for recipes and or the best method of flavoring. Crystals? lor'anns? other?

I'm just not sure the best way to start for decent results.

I make a peppermint menthol that is pretty tasty. I use 1 drop per 10 ml menthol drops and 5% of FlavourArt Peppermint. It is very minty/menthol if that is what you are looking for.

I also make a Peppermint / Lime that has been DH all day vape for months.

If I want a sweeter minty type flavor, I use marshmallow to sweeten.

I hope that helped.

You may want to add different flavors to a mint/menthol base to find what is right for you.

Believe it or not I make a juice for a couple of people that I dubbed cough drop. I made it thinking when I would get sick it would be nice to vape. Anyway the believe it part is because I use 20% yes 20% menthol at this level the menthol is insane but very good. I would say allow to steep about a week.


The Recipe is

15% Strawberry (TPA)
20% Menthol diluted in PG
2% EM

okay. I'm going to pull the trigger tonight on ordering some DIY supplies(My juice supply is getting a bit low.) I've decided to use wizard labs. I like their prices and i like their selection. I think i'm just going to go with a nice variety to see what comes out good. I would like some suggestions/comments on some of their flavors.

Off the top of my head here are some flavors i am interested in experimenting with:
menthol
cotton candy(I understand it is a good base sweetener.)
coconut extra
lemon lime
pomegranate
spearmint
MJ

I have not put any thought into combinations. These flavors are just things i like.

I would love any feedback on any of those flavors. Or on any other Wiz labs flavors for that matter.

To the more experienced diy'ers. Im just starting to mess around with menthol. I have some tpa menthol. I believe its the 10% solution.

Anyone have a general rule of thumb on how much menthol to add to a juice? I know taste is subjective but Id like a starting point, if there is one.

It does, I made some "insane" Menthol mix and worked perfectly against cough. The second success - after dentist last week and finally extraction 2 days back.
My insane menthol is PG/VG and pure menthol crystals- see no point buying some diluted (with gods know what) "ready mades". You crush the crystals or patiently wait till they dissolve themselves. Blends well with other flavours (I use only FAs) Peppermint, Cinnamon, Cardamon, Clove, for cold use mixture of all those and added own ginger and black pepper extracts ... must try strawberry, will do right now...
Edit: WOW! That is fantastic combination, strawberry menthol is my official vape of the day.
