Hi all,

I am terribly frustrated with my nemesis clone mech mod that I just purchased. I am having a hell of a time with it and surprisingly it isn't with coils or wicks. I cannot get the battery to engage. I have spent 3 hours extending the switch screw to touch the battery. I took out a small piece to the mod to reduce size so my AW 18650 would be close enough to fit. As I extend the screw so when I shake it, I dont hear the battery move, the brass pin falls out and I hear it. I have put that pin back on atleast 20 times now. It seems the more I have the screw out, the easier the pin falls. I got the coil to glow once but i havent been able to get it since. Anyone know what im doing wrong? I also made sure the rba was tightened down and the screw touched it as I screwed until it wouldn't turn.

the switch screw should not have to be unscrewed at all except for maybe a mm or so to adjust the throw.
sounds like either you have the wrong tubes on for the battery you are using or the button assembly isnt screwed in all the way. and the bottom adjustment has nothing to do with battery rattle - if you adjust the bottom pin in the button to hold the battery then you have a live connection permanently.

sounds like maybe you forgot to take the kick ring out(the section about 15mm long) and for flat tops you can adjust even further by taking the beauty ring out (the piece that is about 4mm long)

^This, be willing to bet you either still have the tiny ring still on it or kick ring/improper tube configuration.

Who did you get it from?
