well I had my first attempt at a really simple strawberry custard yesterday
12% cap VC V1
5% cap sweet strawberry
3% TPA Bav Cream
2 drops TPA sweetener
I steeped it in the slow cooker for 4 hrs, let it cool then gave it a try and I have to say its bloody lovely, I have locked it away in the dark to steep for a week and see what it's like then :)
I can see this hobby becoming an obsession lol ;)

Add a smidge of CAP Graham Cracker and you have a pretty close Mothers Milk clone.

hmm, didn't have any ethyl maltol, have just ordered some lol...cheers ;)
Sound like me, ordering a new flavor as soon as I see it in a recipe. Sweetener may be ok, I'm still at the point of figuring out what's missing in the recipe but I will say that one will get you about 85% there. At least that's the feedback I get from some other vapers.

dude i am so new to diy, as in I did my first batch of 6 diff flavours yesterday to try it out, and yes your right, I have been constantly looking at recipes and seeing flavours I dont have, I now have around 40 flavours lol, incidentally I did this recipe yesterday and although it has only had a crock pot steep it's delicious and gone down REALLY well with people at work...as in they want to buy some off me haha..
PA Cheesecake (graham crust) 12%
CAP Juicy lemon 5%
PA Whipped Cream 4%
3 drops PA sucralose sweetener

I haven't stopped vaping it all day haha, from my first batch!...leaving the rest to steep for a week before I touch them.

If you are using drops as a sweetener measurement, how many ml of juice are you making? Is it 3 drops per 10 ml? 30ml?

I just like really sweet flavours, so I add a couple of drops to 10ml, but I too am really new to diy so if I am honest I am just winging it ;) lol
I have some, just because I see it in so many recipes. I've only made made one recipe, but it was really good. I went to make a bigger batch last night, ran out of one of my sample sizes, substituted by using more of another same fruit but more candyish flavor. So now I'm playing with that. Still good, just different. Might divide it & add some EM to see what it does. It.s not a custard. Just a fruit & cream.

Here's my adv.
Custard v2 Cap (or TFA hides)10%
Sweet raspberry TFA 5%
Bavarian Cream TFA 2%
Marshmallow TFA 1%
Sweet Cream TFA 1%

I know how much Cap's custard is praised, but don't rule out TFA's. If you like a thicker/buttery custard then Cap, if you like a lighter/sweeter custard try TFA. It's worth trying imo.

Here is my ADV

Vanilla Custard 8%
DIYFS holy vanilla 4%
Cheesecake 3%
Bavarian cream 3%
Caramel 2%
1 drop liquid sweetener per 10ml

Give it a week and pow!
I'd never heard of DIYFS so I looked it up (I actually guessed it stood for 'Do It Your F*%king self' ...which would of been a great name for a company by the way haha :-S) I'm not sure I can get holy vanilla over here without paying through the nose for shipping, same as 'Game Over Custard' but I might give it that a try with the flavours I do have, sounds lush :)
