I'm using kangertech Genitank with an itaste vv 3.0.

I followed some instructions i've been researching online on cleaning your coils to enhance its life.

So i completely disassembled the genitank and washed them under hot water. After i was done i dry-burned the coil a few times to dry it off. It's vaping completely ok technically, but the flavour is completely gone.

The coil of the dual coil kangertech is enclosed.(you can't see the wicks). Did I inadvertently incinerate the entire wick, leading to absolutely no flavour? I've no idea what's going on, and the new coils won't be coming in for another week or two.

Some advice, please? Thanks.

It sounds to me like the wicking material is still wet which will cause a lack of taste until it dries. I would air dry the atty THEN dry burn it. Dry burning is to burn the built up gunk off your coil to allow it to perform better. Trying to dry the wicking material will take a while for the new attys.

ahh. thank you. i've left it out overnight to dry, and that was a good 24 hours ago. 16 hours ago i reassembled everything and filled it with eliquid, and it tastes like nothiong.. should i disassemble everything and wait for it to dry again?

and may i ask what atty is? i'm new here so i'm not familiar with the acronyms...

If it's together just use it until the water is replaced with ejuice.

I'm assuming that the coil itself is still firing with all this. In this example I am generically using atty (atomizer) to describe the coil unit that you screw into the device to distinguish it from the physical coil that produces heat.

I know on my old single strand wick attys if they were wet it seemed to take a while to get any taste back. The new attys use a lot more wicking which would only make the issue worse. As long as the coil is firing just give it a bit.
