Hey Guys,

I have 2 new AC9's from the second batch and both are leaking thru the 510 connection. Does anyone know a fix for this?

Mine leaked for the first couple days but I found out it was overflow coming out of the wickhole and making its way down the post. I took everything apart, cleaned it out, and made sure to keep the surface free of excess liquid. Has not leaked since.

Mine doesn't leak too much, I just notice a little in the 510 connection when I take my ac9 off my pv. I think the condensation works it's way down the positive post. Not a big deal though.

I have been able to get my ac9 setup pretty good, but I have over wicking issues though. I've tried solid wicks, but the taste gets weird. So I've been playing with straw wicks and sometimes pinching the top, still overwicks... Any ideas on what I should try? I've been trying the I oxidized method lately since I picked up a mechanical mod.

i run .8 - .9 ohm. use a thick 3" rolled wick 500mesh, never have over wicking issues. usually doesn't wick fast enough, this juice is too damn thick

How tight is your wick in the wick hole? I have found if my wick is tight in the wick hole then it doesn't wick as well. Like it isn't allowing good vacuum or air flow into the tank to wick properly. I use 100% VG juice in my AC9 and have no wicking issues, if anything overwicking. Heck if I know, I'm probably just getting lucky, lol;)

not that tight. it def has room. all my 100% vg juices are fine, except this newest order of vapedudes...that stuff isn't juice. its syrup. i have no problems with bobas but this stuff just does not wick

When re-installing the center post, how do you guys get the screw to protrude more? I'm having a little difficulty because the white insulator piece just spins in place. If I hold the nut down while tightening the screw, it comes out more but then the pin becomes loose in its sleeve (and the spring is almost fully conpressed). Hewp.

I accidentally chewed up the threads once and it did that, try swapping it out with a replacement if you got one. Sounds like the same thing happened, mine was tough to unscrew.

If you mean swap out the white insert, I did that already. Why do they sit so loose in the 510 connection? Was this design intentional?

They shouldn't be. Does it loosen all the way? It should work just like a nut. And once you get the height you want, you want to tighten the first nut at the top. That should lock the positive post to that dimension.

If the plastic but works fine, might just have to tighten that first but that is closest to the insulator. If that nut is pretty much stuck, you may have chewed out that nut and might need another. Hope that helps!
