AC9 on EA Mod

Is it true the AC9 doesn't sit flush on the EA mod. I have an Electric Angel with an AC9 on it's way and i feel like i may be in for a small disappointment.

I can't get mine to thread down all the either. I also tried the IGO-L and that's even worse.
