They claim that the tank is made out of PMMA right here.
Now I'm not overly familiar with different kinds of plastics, but this stuff appears to be fairly durable, no?
I've only been vaping for a few months, so forgive my ignorance ahead of time if this stuff has been widely used before and been proven to fail.
well I guess I am now officially an atomizer collector, order #1105 just got placed by me.
The part of the article which causes me to question how it will react with different e-liquids:

I have to agree. I don't really see the need for the tank to be contained like it is and would rather have Pyrex or fused quartz. Props for trying to be innovative though but I'm not into plastic tanks.
Kir Fanis clear tanks for the DiD and others are PMMA. I don't really hear of any problems with those

hollowed center tube yea i havent seen that before. the way it mounts however has been done for a long time now (tapered tank) Adjustable threaded post? for an american made genesis atomizer it might be the first time. ill be stalking the reviews soon since it doesnt look like there were beta units around at all.

I have too. To me. But for my testing, I have a juice that I know will not.

Of course there are problems with the kir fanis tanks.
Well, I guess we'll see. I hope it holds up. It seems that some of the "weak spots" for other tanks (threads, pressure from o-rings) would not be an issue for the AC9 design. As far as chemical reaction to juice.......shrug.......guess I'll just hope for the best.
