Accuracy of Dropper Markings?

I vape quite a bit of Longhorn, along with a little Malibu, but most of my juices now are DIY. I love the droppers in the 30ml bottles of Halo juice because they're marked in .25ml gradations and are great for measuring DIY. I've begun wondering, though, how accurate those markings are. Are they pretty accurate or are they just approximations? Does anyone know for sure?

Like any measurement device, it must be compared to a known good standard.

Get a graduated cylinder. Measure out a 1ml with the dropper of water, put it into the grad cylinder. Repeat nine more times. If you wind up with 10ml, then you'll have your answer.

Dont forget to take into account the meniscus, and that a meniscus of most lab equipment is rated for water's ratings and not others... so you have to do some self calibration.

I use a 1 ml syringe to check accuracy (without the needle). Just drop the liquid into the top of the syringe with your finger over the end!
