I see Political Correctness dominating the News and almost every
aspect of American life today. Political Correctness is nothing more
than a form of controlling thought.

Focusing on the OP ...
It is Politically Correct to demonize cigarettes and tobacco in general.
Say any negative thing you want about tobacco and no one will stand up
and champion apposing views. Most proposed smoking bans are a "done deal"
before they even come to a vote.

If the subject is tobacco related ... It is Politically Incorrect to challenge
any negative statement about tobacco ... even if the challenge has merits.
Most don't care or even interested in hearing the truth.

I hate Political Correctness as well as the Nanny State who supports it.

I found it funny how every chance he got in the article he inserted the word tobacco when he should of used the word smoking.

We need push now to educate the public about this replacement of the word "smoking" with "tobacco."
Seems I'm reading it in about all threads I look at today.
If we do nothing else (not promote e-cigs as a way to cut down or quit, etc.), we should challenge this use of the terminology- This may be the 1 page advert or even 1/2 page in a larger circulating newspaper- where the word will get out and people will start questioning it- start with the use of SNUS in Sweden where there is a proven track record... I don't know- it just seem foolish that the entire public is being DUPED about this....
