I was always able to see in member's profiles there "Activity" if they were online (not invisible) . One reason I was told it was because if they were on their cellphones it wouldn't show but I tested that and evidently that's not the case. No ones show anymore. Has the function been eliminated?

TIA

I am on your friend's list unsure. I also navigate ECF through my activity screen (hence why folks see me bounce around).

Are you saying you do not see my activity in your friends activity screen or you do not see my activity in my profile? I am never invisible and am using all default settings.

Stalk me as a test and see if your problem is only occuring with some folks. Then you can assume there's nothing wrong on your end. FYI, I use only a web browser.

ETA: nevermind, do what retired1 said. Trust me, he knows his stuff.

I see your green dot indicating your online but in your profile zip on activity. Btw I use to navigate the same but can't anymore. Yours use to show up to me but not anymore. I think the ECF has me on the 'NO STALKING LIST".

EDIT: Btw I went to this popular thread where there is usually 5-15 members and tried each one and no activity so it my connection in the ECF that must have changed!?!

I just checked both your profiles and your activity is showing just fine. If you're not seeing the most recent posts in the feed, try logging out, clear your cookies and cache, then log back in again. It's possible one of the servers is a wee bit behind in updating some of the "foo-foo" stuff in the background.

Ok I'll give it a shot but I did that 2 weeks ago but I'll do again. Btw I see my activity only. Actually as Im in invisible mode I didn't think anyone could see mine or are you using your Admin super powers. :)

:D

Even if you're invisible, your activity is going to show up in the post feed in your profile. There's no way to hide that.

Now, if you're thinking of the "Last Activity" area on the far left column under your profile picture, the only thing that's going to show up for that is your own stuff. Only Admins can view that for other individuals. I can't even see that info. :)

And if what retired1 says doesn't work, may I recommend another way around his thought process... which is to go into your general settings and basically RESTORE TO DEFAULT every single thing. (Pain in the .... I know because then you will have to re do all your tweeks) but atleast then you can rule out any misconfig on your end.

This is assuming his suggestion of clearing cache/cookies/logout doesn't work.

Good luck brother

Sinc retired1 isn't on my friend's list, since I'm online, what if retired1 takes a sscreenshot of my profile (if it doesn't breach protocol) just like Gil has, and then we can see what (if any) difference there is? Like for example, will it show the last current activity location, that it does for me?

Sorry I'm late to the game here and I'm trying to put my thinking cap on but I think it may be broken.

Ok after cleaning out cache & cookies, resetting ECF-1, logging on and off and then checking 25 random members who are online not one showing what their viewing/thread location just the "LAST ACTIVITY" date only.:glare: I know its not a big deal if this isn't working but stuff like this eats at me.
