So as many of you know I have been vaping mostly 0mg juice. I just picked up a bottle of the 555 vg wow 11mg. Just received my first headrush in two months. CRAZY!!!!

Oh forgot to put this. This is my first time trying any 555. Basically for those that are interested its a smooth tobacco flavor with hints of hazelnut. This is most likely going to be my all day vape. Some other notes; as I said I purchased the 100 percent vg, it is extremely thick. I am not sure what the long term effects that is going to have on the cartomizers but as for dripping to fill it takes time and be sure to utilize the taryn spin to fill it. In the future I will probably just get the WOW 555 regular. Still the juice is exactly as v4l states smooth, relaxing and wonderful.

1-5 scales
Vapor - 4.5
Throat Hit - 5 at 11mg it was kicking
Flavor - 5 (keep in mind that I do not think its intended to be an in your face vape)
Odor - (not rated) this flavor does have a mild odor of hazlenut to me not strong but definitely there

I'm not sure bumping your nic mg strength up is good news...kinda going in the wrong direction. :2cool:

VG is actually more Carto friendly than PG, it will also last notably longer than PG blends.

LOL I know totally wrong direction but I wanted to know what everyone was talking about when it came to the TH! All the cool kids are doing it! :vapor: Just kidding. Definitely know I will not be staying at this level and have no reason to go up. I really think between 4 and 8 mg is my speed. 0 is fine if the juice has depth.

One thing that might be saving grace is that I cannot chain vape this like I have in the past. I feel satisfied with just a few hits and then can set it down for a bit. A few of my last juices would not leave my mouth late at night in front of the computer. That is to say that it has nothing to do with the taste, just the gratification.

Didn't know this at all Snow, someone a whiles back told me VG was a carto wrecker and I believed them.

Why is VG easier on cartos?

Either way this is good news and great review in the OP. I actually prefer VG dominant juice and want to try some V4L VG blends

Comes down to 3 things Cyrus Vap...composition, viscosity, and a new process. A year ago almost all VG juices were very thick and were hard to load up into a carto without a syringe. This caused dry spots for drip fillers which in turn led to folks burning up cartos. These thicker juices tended to load up a polyfill and the atomizer quickly. People shunned them since they offered very little throat hit and depending on the quality could leave a slight film in your mouth.

A bulk of the juice makers within the last 6 months figured out to how to thin out the VG so it absorbs into a Carto more easily. Whenever you hear folks talk about TH, the conversation turns to the ratio of PG in their blended juices. Why? PG is less viscous and more reactive to heat than VG is. When you read through threads on VG there a quite a few folks that bag on VG. I vape quite a few 100% VG flavors and they are great.

Because they are vegetable glycerin and have more viscous and different qualities than PG they produce a cooler type of vapor (hence no TH). This in turn gives them a longer lifespan in the carto since they don't share the same burn rate for lack of a proper term. A higher burn rate like that of PG produces a warmer vape, TH, and also vapes off much quicker leading to more build up on the atomizer along with a greater chance of a burnt Carto.

You should try some and find out for yourself, you might be pleasantly surprised. When I first started I read a lot of complaints about VG and just thought that it wasn't worth trying, that it was basically for folks that were PG sensitive. Well I have since learned that was nonsense, VG juices offer great flavor and awesome vapor production.

If you ever wanna try one a good 100% VG, let me know, I am vaping an outstanding 100% VG Root Beer right now in a 1.5o DC EM4X tank which has been going strong for 2 weeks. For folks using thicker VG, it's best to invest in a 16 gauge needle and avoid drip filling altogether. I purchase my VG juices from certain vendors and their juice absorb into the polyfill just as quickly as any PG or PG/VG blend

When it comes to cleaning VG cartos I simply soak and flush them with Vodka then flush the carto with hot tap water. As opposed to most of the PG/VG cartos which I only use hot tap water for. VG has come a long ways in the last 6 months and more and more juice vendors are finally offering it.

Snow, you gave me yet another reason to prefer all-VG juices. Thanks for that. It's a bit sad that us VG-heads, especially those seeking USA-made brews, need to look beyond V4L for some of our juice needs. I'm hoping that changes some day.

Edit: No disrespect intended toward V4L. I spend enough money here as it is!

+1 Jeffree.... I know a guy who has a website and he keeps an updated list of all the VG vendors should you ever need one.

:2cool:
Hi Snow,
I would like to fine out about your list and that great sounding root beer VG. The problem is that I don't know how to PM people on the forum. Many times I would like a personal answer without troubling the whole group. If you could help I would appreciate it. I think you do a great job for all of who follow the V4l forum. Thanks
